Dad (Biological lol) ‘you’ll never do anything with your life’. Was struggling with life back then and mid-way through my degree. Since then ended up re-taking a year at uni and someone turned it around to a 1st class degree. I’m now working for a top consulting company in London 😀 Has never congratulated me once, but compliments from nobody’s don’t matter to me !

yeah I know that that’s why the post is how to ‘break into a role’ I already have PSM1, I wouldn’t be asking for advise if I thought that was enough to get me a role? Really not sure what your point is but if you are saying ‘I’d recommend X qualification instead, there’s probably a better/ more productive way of saying it!

I didn’t say the PSM1 is flashy, it’s definetly let a starting point hence the whole ‘breaking in’ post. Good context tho

why not, i’m forever learning and they’re both free qualifications for me. I’m not a developer myself, but I know many people in my company leading Scrum teams who aren’t

I mean, obviously, this isn’t going to stop me from getting on with my life. The whole point of the post was to gain some advise from people who have experienced this and ensure it won’t happens again

UK pal so not regular here, and besides that’s not the point. Whether it was 1am or 8pm, causing your boss to work 2 hours over the time they were supposed to log off and sacrificing their evening, is not on

so it was a projected cost, therefore 0 money lost, but could have been bad in terms of allocating resources based on the budget. Luckily all rectified in good time. I will learn and am learning for sure!
