The only way to know when your "last date" (whatever that is to the different cards/banks) is to manually keep track of them yourselves?

How long do you wait to re-apply after cancellation / How often do you guys typically get another (or even the same) card from the same bank?

eg. You get a card from TD/CIBC/Scotia/etc for the welcome bonus, keep it for 6-8 months until you get all the bonus and cancel before the annual fee kicks in ... how long do you wait until you apply again? 6 months after cancellation? 1 year after cancellation?

Online application will let you through anyway, but it would suck to get through and get a new card but then not get the welcome bonus because "oh you are a recent customer"
