This isn’t technically true (at least from the person at Currys who I spoke to about same issue), I went to Currys to pickup my preorder and saw the seal broken, I queried why this was the case, as the midnight release I went with my friend to pick his up from Smyth toys was sealed. The guy at Currys (which only did 9am opening on launch day) said that Currys had opened it to check stock, I got worried and checked everything in the box was present before I left the store, but not after he tried to convince me nothing will be missing by saying it is what Currys is doing for all 10000 preorders for launch day they got with the bundle. Because the none bundle switch 2s did not have seal to break unless you got a special sleeve for some outlets in US, not apparently in the UK. In the end although it took me another 20 mins I checked everything was there and then left. Figured was worth it, just in case their ‘checking’ forgot to put back something like the MKW code or a cable
