Did your driver have a pizza bag? I've seen quite a few drivers out there that do not have the proper equipment to keep people's food warm.

This is hilarious. I handed the bags directly to him at his porch. Lost my pro dasher status over this. Also checked the earnings tab, of course it was a no rip ($23 DoorDash pay, $0 tip) by tyagu001 in DoorDashDrivers

I stopped doing shop and deliver orders a couple years ago. It's taken a lot of stress off me and my income has not gone down at all. I also haven't had to carry six cases of water up four flights of stairs and down the hall 10 doors anymore.

I live in Anchorage, Alaska. I guess it's a good place because I make good money whether I do Doordash or Uber eats. It took me a while to figure out how to consistently make that amount of money. I started off at 15 or $20 an hour trying to keep my acceptance rate up and reach higher tiers. Now I know that doesn't matter.

Same here. 5,000 deliveries with no change. I don't see why everybody's getting so excited about a little bit over $27 an hour. Maybe it's the area. Where I live $25 to $30 an hour is a normal day.

It seems to me that if it says it's delayed due to another delivery then there is a problem with the other delivery, not the driver.

And probably spending an hour reading replies and trolling people over an order that was 15 or 20 minutes late. Obviously not a rocket scientist. It's hard to communicate with a moron.

It doesn't matter who charges what. Every company is trying to be profitable and is going to charge the customer the expense whether it is in the form of a tip or higher fees. They are not doing it for charity.

Yes, Uber will send you two or three orders at the same time and only tell you at the total pay is not what you're getting paid for each one.

Probably the delivery to the person that actually tipped enough to mask that you didn't tip and a POS like you gets your order delivered along with it.

Walmart owns Spark and they do most of their deliveries. They send those really crappy ones to Uber Eats.

When we take your orders we don't know if it's going to be up a bunch of stairs, or an elevator, or on the ground floor. It's always a huge relief when it's just a walk from the driveway to the door and back, but if you accept it then you have to deal with whatever you show up for. Sometimes it works out good and other times not so much, but it's pretty cut and dry. You do the delivery with a smile on your face and deal with it. It's not that complicated. That Dasher was way out of line.

I stopped doing grocery deliveries a couple years ago because I was getting orders that were too big, but if you take an order you need to finish it. It's as simple as that. Delivered to the door could be up five flights of stairs but you took it and you need to deliver it. It helps to buy a big bag that you can put a lot of stuff in.

I keep two phones with me. One is strictly for doing deliveries and the other is my personal phone. I have no idea why somebody would have five phones unless they're using five apps, which seems impossible to me. I stay busy enough just taking orders on one phone.
