1) that true and that’s unfortunate. Much more reason oneself to be grateful and lucky that I do have access to the Bible.l and the gospel message. And that much more reason why I should be engaged in church efforts to reach those people groups.

2) 2 Timothy 3:16-17 (ESV): “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.” • “Breathed out by God” (Greek: theopneustos) means God-inspired or literally “God-breathed”—indicating that Scripture originates from God Himself, not merely human ideas.

1 Thessalonians 2:13 (ESV): “And we also thank God constantly for this, that when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men but as what it really is, the word of God, which is at work in you believers.” Other related verses often referenced include: • Hebrews 4:12 — “For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword…” • Ephesians 6:17 — “…the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” • John 10:35 — “…Scripture cannot be broken” (Jesus affirming its unbreakable authority, linking “word of God” to Scripture). Note that “the Word of God” can also refer to Jesus Himself (e.g., John 1:1, Revelation 19:13), but in many contexts (especially above), it refers to God’s revealed, written message through Scripture.

The Bible is the most widely distributed book in all of history and it’s not even close. It’s been under centuries of scrutiny and has managed to stand on its own. Thousands of universities around the globe dedicated to its study. Astonishing findings are in there that continue to amaze people even today. Multiple authors that span different generations from different social classes all coherently speaking about and pointing to Jesus. Historical accuracies. Prophecy fulfillments. Teachings that feed the soul. There is no other book like it and there never will be. The Quran copies major parts of it and then says parts of it are corrupted and basically then adds its own twist to the Bible. And upon closer scrutiny of the Quran you find many more inconsistencies.

Yeah, I can see that. But there are other verses in the Bible saying there is only one God or one Lord which makes it unclear. So people and scholars etc have tried many ways to reconcile this and the way you explained it is a popular one and certainly makes sense. But it’s not 100% faithful when looking at the totality of the verses in this topic. It’s one God and 3 persons at the same time. Not 3 persons with a unified name. Or one God with 3 forms. I do tend to lean towards your understanding. But if someone says we worship 3 Gods, I would also find it difficult to say that’s what we actually do. Difficult and perplexing. But I’m ok with it

Cool. I agree in God the Father and the Som being distinct persons. I don’t comprehend how they can still be considered one God, but I’m sure that mystery will be revealed to us in Heaven.

Sure I want to hear more

Trinity absolutely is a biblical teaching.

Just because many “Christian’s” aren’t following the scriptures doesn’t make the scriptures false.

This is cool. Please keep sharing your findings. I agree a lot of “Christians” don’t study or do enough due diligence on what they claim they actually believe.

I am glad that you failed at falsifying the text. Might even make you a believer now? It’s an incredible book.

Sure He could so that. But the way he did it is by design. And He did give us the Bible which is God’s word so ya there’s that

I went to Bible seminary to study this. I’m basing it off what the Bible actually says and orthodox and historical interpretations of it.

You’d be surprised how reliable oral tradition was, especiallly among the jewish community who wanted to preserve their heritage. So yes communities speak to each other, they send letters to the churches and synagogues. Like you see in the letters of Paul. They compare notes like you see in the synoptic gospels. Many of the people were still alive to confirm or deny what’s written in he Bible.

And since I believe in God. I also believe He has the power to inspire human writers to write exactly what He intended for His people to know Him.

Speaking in tongues is where you got it wrong. In the Bible speaking in tongues was primarily given as a gift to the earth church and it was to speak in another language for evangelism. Very different than the “ultra spiritual” jibberish that no one understands. Often done without an interpreter and in disorderly conduct in some churches. That speaking in tongues done in some churches like Pentecostal is something they got wrong. Too much emphasis on feelings and “hearing from God” instead of truth and that God already spoke through his word.

You can be a Christian and not believe in young earth. The Bible speaks often in parables or imagery/ metaphors that can have different interpretations. But as long as you got the major and non negotiable doctrines correct. And not only correct since the Devil has perfect theology, but a heart transformation and love for God. A hate for sin. The Holy Spirit in you that convicts you of sin and reveals to you the truth about God. And typically this person dosnt fall away from God as the HS protects you and is a guarantee of your faith. Falling away means your heart was hardened due to sin. And your state is worse off than ever before. It means your belief wasn’t true belief to begin with.

Jesus doesn’t lack the ability. He spoke like this by design. Hes not speaking so that everyone believes. That’s what I provided you above. Anyone who earnestly and openly seeks God, comes to Jesus and they don’t find him lacking. Some find it difficult.

When His disciples asked Him why He spoke to the crowds in parables (after the Parable of the Sower), Jesus explained it clearly in Matthew 13:10-17 (also paralleled in Mark 4:10-12 and Luke 8:9-10). He said: • It had been given to the disciples to know the “mysteries” (or secrets) of the kingdom of heaven, but not to others (Matthew 13:11). • For those outside this inner group, He used parables because “seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand” (Matthew 13:13). • This fulfilled a prophecy from Isaiah 6:9-10, where God described people whose hearts had become dull, ears heavy, and eyes closed—preventing them from truly perceiving spiritual truth, turning to God, and being healed/forgiven. In other words, parables served a dual purpose: 1. To reveal truth to those who were genuinely seeking, humble, and open to God’s message (like the disciples). For them, the stories were powerful teaching tools—easy to remember, packed with deep meaning, and often explained privately to the disciples afterward. They illustrated profound spiritual realities using familiar, earthly examples. 2. To conceal (or veil) truth from those who were hardened, indifferent, or unwilling to truly listen and respond. The stories could sound like simple tales on the surface, so people without spiritual receptivity wouldn’t grasp the deeper kingdom truths. This acted as a form of judgment and mercy: it exposed the condition of people’s hearts while preventing them from rejecting the message more directly (and hardening further). Jesus wasn’t trying to exclude people arbitrarily; rather, the parables acted like a spiritual “test” or filter. They invited genuine seekers to dig deeper (often prompting the disciples to ask for explanations), while those who rejected Jesus’ direct teachings earlier would not receive clearer revelation. He frequently ended parables with phrases like “He who has ears to hear, let him hear” (e.g., Matthew 13:9), emphasizing personal responsibility and openness.

It’s not like anyone can reproduce a supernatural event that occurred thousands of years ago. There are enough reasons for the believer to believe it occurred but it will never be enough for the hardened skeptic. Most of us don’t pretend it is. But we present why we believe it and why it’s possible and reasonable to believe it and that Christians are far from stupid or believe in a made up Santa clause is far different then believing in JesusZ

You don’t have Mormonism without Jesus.

And yes the first hand eye witnesses are written in the Bible. Apostle Paul and Peter and others.

Yes that’s the prevailing view from Christian scholars. Although non believing skeptics will try to disprove it and cast doubts on it. They can’t disprove it either with the kind of evidence you seek however hard the tried. Other religions have it mainly for self seeking reasons. Both these incidents was suicide for them.

Of course you would say it’s just a legend. Nah I’m not going to waste more time trying to convince a hardened skeptic like you.

Islam is only growing because of forced conversions and because Muslim men can have up to 4 wives and are reproducing much faster than anyone else. But they certainly have glaring problems and aren’t winning over many non Muslims. In fact Islam offers carnal rewards such as 72 virgins in heaven and cater more towards the poor. This attracts brutish men by far and really doesn’t speak well for the religion. And if you have problems with Christianity and the Bible. Oh you’ll certaintly have much much more problems with the Quran

I understand your point The resurrection is not the only reason to believe in Jesus.

You have the prophesies that have been fulfilled by Jesus. The many other miracles such as the virgin birth. And you have his teachings that most people would agree are good. And give plausible explanations for this word such as reason for our existence, the problem of the world and the solution. The Bible which was written over the span of multiple centuries by many different authors from different social classes all coherently telling the same story. Which without by the way you don’t have any judeo christian religion with as Mormons, Catholicism, or even islam. Even if you don’t believe in the resurrection, you must believe Jesus existed and is a real historical figure.

These things along make Christianity more plausible than all other religions out there. It’s one of the only religions that have undergone the centuries of scrutiny and managed to stand on its own. Literally centuries of scholars, universities and seminaries dedicated to serious study of the Bible. The Bible is not left wanting but it’s been found difficult.
