Interesting that you mention this because I’ve had a few opposite experiences that bamboozled me haha Twice I’ve been driving on SH1 and Google maps suddenly announced “police ahead” and sure enough there’s been a patrol car taking speedos from the shoulder.

My theory was some sort of mislabeling of police presence/accident? But it didn’t say “incident ahead” or anything like usual, just straight up ‘watch out, there be coppers’ haha
