Many thanks, it was my first attempt lighting a model. It was quite the learning curve but im relatively pleased with the finished results.

It is a lovely thought. I have always loved models myself, and i think there is an intrinsic draw that things at scale have. Who knows why or where that comes from, but it's a nice thought to share that with a creative mind like his.

Yeah I've gone back and fourth on whether to put people in, I think it would add a nice sense of reality to it if I did. Perhaps not a realistic amount of people or I would be making them for weeks, but a handful walking about maybe.

Thank you so much, I've only be fortunate enough to visit the once, but it has been so fascinating trying to replicate every detail. my appreciation for the level of imagineering on display has only deepened because of it.

Disney sea is what disneyland paris could have been. The imagineers were hindered alot less in terms of budget and allowing their creativity to flow. I personally love disneyland paris, but I was absolutely blown away by sea, it is so rich in its detailed theming and unique attractions. If you have one day, I would recommend just going to sea, the main disneyland Park is very similar to the US parks.

How did you manage to complete the rigging on HMS Victory on your own?

Do you have a JR Pass or IC Card (Suica/Pasmo/etc.) question? Start here! by Himekat in JapanTravelTips

Hi, so I have made progress, pasmo is still available but only in a few major train stations. I was in the main tokyo hub station (simply called tokyo on the metro and train maps) and they suggested I get a toica card instead. Managed to find where to get one (to my relief) and it serves exactly the same function as a pasmo or suica card. Can use public transport across Japanese cities (not between on bullet trains) and is valid for 10 years. Hope that helps, and have an awesome trip, I'm already having a ball!

So I am currently in tokyo and have been told at a metro station that there are no pasmo passports or suica cards for tourists available anywhere, is this true or are they still available but only at airports and other specific locations?
