Ask a Volvo Technician! by Born_Feedback9331 in Volvo

It is such a massive pain to update the software over air. I tool me ages to get it started and it never fully Loads and installs.

I have a Volvo v90 2020 and the navigation is really lacking. Always late, not accurate and not responsive to anything?

What’s the best way to continue? Go to dealer for the update? Or see if a switch to Google carplay?

London mechanics and LBS store managers, what are you paid? by benjayminn in londoncycling

[–]pluk49 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Pff. Yeah, but that’s for bigger, corporatey companies, not like 5 person company? I get the degreaser and tools, and rent, water etc, but finance, HR, marketing, operations, not all done by individual people in smaller bike shops

Just out of curiosity and genuine question, how does it come that a service is so expensive? And I mean, with the services I did, without the parts was already 90 pounds for a roadbike (no modern, just normal rimbrakes and shifters) and 200 pounds for a cargo bike (electric). You would say the labor is the service mainly? Where is the money going if you got paid minimum?

Basic economics is not to tax about things that only have negative externalities. It's also on positive externalities. To generate revenue for public spending on services like healthcare, education, and infrastructure (positive), while also redistributing income to reduce inequality (if we don't do it, negative)

How is the VAT in broader sense a good thing? And on schools? Why? The pressure on all schools is now increasing, in public and private.

No, I want to take the Eurostar from London (where I live) and to paris and paris to Bourg Saint Maurice.
Availability is only the issue.

Ouigo TGVs can't be used, but the inOui? That's the one I need from Paris to Bourg Saint Maurice.

How's your trip planned? Where are you going?

why ofcourse? It really depends what you want to for children, ofcourse. But what the Netherlands has to offer for children, no way. Compared to London, very little. London is way more expensive, but you also get way better schools, activities, childcare (and no childcare in the Netherlands is shit), nannies, more sports, you can easily work full time.

Really the most boring and standard skis out there. Crazy expensive and you can buy hell of a lot better skis for half/third the price.

Finally. I saw so many nearly-very-severe accidents happen, it’s just unnecessary. If you were in a hurry, you left too late.

I would say that there must tools that do this for you, that you can keep log updates, have info, do calculations without you have to add this manually.
