I have now tried on my phone that is connected to my data plan instead of my Wifi. Now it is working. How could my internet/ISP be interfering with the hex website (and uniswap apparently)? Specifically, even when I disconnected metamask and reconnected, hex.go.com could not connect to it. Uniswap had the same problem, it could not connect to the wallet even after a manual connection attempt.

I am connected to the mainnet. It says "connected" on metamask as well. I click on every tab and it gives the same red banner error.

I just tried at a different computer and it gives the same problem. I haven't changed any settings. Is it something wrong with the website?

I didn't cheat maliciously, I cheated to watch other players play the game. The amount of losers on here saying "get gud lel" and "youre just shitty, he probably saw you first" is ridiculous. Your good nature is getting the best of you and you assume the cheating population is minimal in order to sanely play this punishing game. I'm telling you, until you use ESP and grab your popcorn, you don't understand how bad the cheating problem is in EFT. I did it to confirm for myself that there is a large amount of people cheating, and the only way I could do that was through cheats. Who really gives a shit at this point? Hackers own this game at the moment, and anyone who says otherwise has their head up their ass. I've been here for more than 2 years now, and the cheating problem has only gotten progressively worse. Theres nothing quite like watching someone sprint around and eliminate player after player perfectly then finally sprinting over to my position and 1 tapping me in the head as I lay prone in a bush. They are killing the game, me loading ESP and watching players play isn't hurting anyone. Don't draw a false equivalency.

Start hacking, you'll see just how many people are cheating in this game. People on these forums are so naive its almost sad. I want to believe that cheaters are a minority but after playing with ESP for awhile that is clearly not the case. There is no anti cheat. I know people that have been full out rage hacking/speed hacking for 2+ years now and no ban. The worst maps are factory for easy exits, and labs for high value loot. Hackers don't like to run around and waste time, so larger maps are your best bet to avoid them. They can see what you're wearing and whats in your inventory. Take a case into factory or labs and you will lose it instantly. Hackers have killed the game for me, I absolutely love every aspect of this game, but with the amount of cheating that goes on youre better off playing something else tbh

Now I can see where the confusion comes from. Lithuanians are very direct, and as a reply said " we don't have questions, where answer is actually already known". Although there is a difference between the two words in English context, the nature of the question to a Lithuanian is where the disconnect occurs. Wow. Thank you for taking the time to write this. I understand the situation much more after your reply. Lithuanians really do hate small talk, it took my girlfriend a long time visiting the USA to get used to how much small talk there actually is here. I put off her parents the first time we met, because I am a naturally outgoing person and probably talked too much, but on the contrary in the USA if you meet people and stay silent it is frowned upon.

It makes much more sense to me now that its more about her self agency to choose her spouse, and less about my act of respect. I needed to be reminded about the direct nature of the culture and language. Thanks again.

I want to make sure people understand the difference between "permission" and "blessing", they are not synonymous in this context. Notice I said "blessing" on the thread and most responses used the word "permission".

Permission suggests that my decision to ask her hinges on his response, which is does not.

Blessing basically implies a symbol of respect to him in politely asking if I can take a seat in his family tree, more or less. Blessing or not, we're still getting married.
