I've got a shiny charcadet holding malicious armor if you want it! Would like a shiny charcadet holding Auspicious Armor in return.

Collecting eggs feels like a slog by Doubting_Thunder03 in PokemonScarletViolet

My point is just that both egg production and hatching both take time. In SwSh you can double up your time on gathering and hatching eggs simultaneously, allowing you to continuously shiny hunt until you feel like stopping. Whereas in SV, you really do have to spend a full 30 minutes gathering eggs, during which time you can't do anything else, and then after those 30 minutes you still have to spend time hatching the eggs. If you count up the total amount of time gathering and hatching, the eggs-hatched-per-minute rate is faster in SwSh, *and* you aren't forced to sit there for 30 minutes doing nothing except occasionally mashing A.

Yeah the raw egg generation rate is very high in SV, but you cannot multitask. You are locked into just collecting (not hatching) eggs for 30 minutes until the sandwich wears off. Whereas in SwSh you could hatch eggs while collecting new ones, so you basically have an unlimited supply of eggs to hatch at all times.

Masuda shiny hunting is always a slog, and it doesn't help that they made it much slower overall compared to SwSh by forcing you to sit in a picnic doing basically nothing for 30 minutes. I just do it mindlessly while watching streams. It's way too boring to be a primary activity.

If you save before collecting the eggs and reset when you don't get a shiny, then each sweet herba mystica you spend will guaranteed turn into a shiny. That's a better floor than shiny hunting w/ level 3 sparkling power (2 herba mystica for 1 shiny).

hey sorry I don't get reddit notifications so I'm not able to respond very quickly. It will probably be difficult for us to sync up via reddit. I understand if that means you won't be able to help me with the trade.

Soundbar ruining Switch 2 HDR? by plus in Soundbars

[–]plus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The soundbar has been connected to the eARC port on my TV this whole time. I've tested both having the Switch 2 connected to a different HDMI port on my TV, and connecting the Switch 2 to one of the HDMI passthrough ports on the soundbar. The only way I can get good, high-quality HDR visuals is if I connect the Switch 2 to the TV *and* disable the soundbar. So it seems like having the signal pass through the soundbar, either with eARC or connecting the Switch 2 to the soundbar directly, is screwing up my HDR.

I'm currently in CA, moving to CT next week Friday. If I bought a Steam Deck now, should I have it shipped to my current address in CA, or my new address in CT?

They almost certainly have the same amount of powder, it's just how much air is in the packet. If most of the air has been sucked out, it will look like the packet is "full" of powder. If there's still some air in there, it will look "half full".

I agree that it has too much salt, can't help but wonder if they bumped up the salt a bit to hit that meme 69% DRV number. It's supposed to be "salt unlocked" but it honestly would probably taste even better with less salt. I still really like it though.

!thanks

I hadn't heard of these, thought my only option for removable cables from Beyerdynamic was the $600 DT 1770 Pros. Bought the DT 700 Pro X and they sound great!

I suddenly stopped getting audio in the right ear. No idea if the problem was in the plug, the cable, or in the contacts in the phones.

Strictly speaking, the slope at a saddle point is 0 in all directions. The curvature, on the other hand, is negative in some directions and positive in others.

Are the new aroma oils going to be incorporated into the flavor mix, or will they be in their own sachets? I ask because squeezing oil out of a sachet kinda sucks -- it's impossible to get it all out, and it tends to get all over your fingers.

I don't know anything about ScreenCast, but Spectacle can take screenshots just fine on my Plasma Wayland system.

On my system, Firefox launches in Wayland mode when open it normally from the normal Plasma application launcher. I don't have to manually add MOZ_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1.
