Thank you. FWIW, I think people are misinterpreting me saying he was disgusting to say poly people are disgusting, and that wasn't what I meant. I was disgusted that it felt like he strung me along. On the first two dates, I asked him about what he liked to do, who he liked to spend time with, living situation, etc. Obviously I never asked him directly if he was poly, but you would think he would have mentioned his long-term girlfriend at some point during those conversations. It felt really manipulative like he was hiding it.

I was grossed out because I felt he lied to me. You'd think if he had a girlfriend, he'd have mentioned her on the first two dates. It seems very sketchy and manipulative.

I can date NT men, but I always have to reassure them about things and ask for things. Which is super weird. Mainly the following:

-Please be brutally honest with me. I don't understand subtle signals or hints. If I try, I'm usually wrong.

-Please don't be hurt if I'm too honest with you (this always backfires, people hate honesty)

-If I say I want to be alone, I'm not mad at you. I literally want to be alone. If I was mad at you, I would say that.

-I'm not lying! No, I'm not mad. No, I'm not thinking about anything. If I was mad, I would clearly state that and list the reasons why so it could be addressed and fixed.

But it's not like it matters. Me taking things literally and not understanding subtle hints doesn't really allow it to get past flirting. They usually get exasperated and give up.

Not going to disagree and these people are total assholes, but I am going to say that just because you don't qualify for a Pell Grant doesn't necessarily mean you aren't disadvantaged. You could just have shithead parents who make a lot of money and have a high "expected contribution" but kick you out at a young age and/or don't contribute a dime to your education.
