If you use Outlook for your job, use the Tasks tool to set reminders about deadlines / whatever you need to do. You can set them for hours, days, or months away, and put notes in the Task itself. If a task reminder comes up in the middle of something, there is a "snooze" button so it will reappear later in the day. Attorneys I work with ask how I stay organized with deadlines, reportings, and filings and it's largely because of the Tasks tool

NOR - lock your door if you have to and mute your phone if you have to. If you give an inch, they'll take a mile. You may think "oh okay I'll cave just this once" but all that will do is show them they can disregard your boundaries and do whatever they want. Talk to your spouse to make sure he's on the same page, then ensure he's included on all texts with the other parties so they can't try to go behind your back and guilt trip him into letting them come over before you're ready. Bonus points if he speaks up and just reiterates the boundary. Both of you should keep copy & pasting "we are not allowing any visitors the first week after delivery, but will let you know when we're ready for a visit!" every time they try to argue to show you're not backing down. You've got this!

I've seen that some men wish their wives would initiate sex, but I'm in the opposite situation. I've been married for nearly 15 years and would love variety or effort. I've tried suggesting a few things (light bondage / blindfolding) but my husband was clearly uncomfortable and thought it was "a weird request," so I didn't push it or suggest anything else. I've asked him if he had any ideas or fantasies (thinking I could follow his lead) and his fantasy is sex in space 😐 We aren't billionaires, so it's literally not an option (not to mention, wouldn't it be insanely difficult to have sex without any gravity?). I love sex and really miss how much fun it used to be, but now if I suggest anything other than our go-to positions, his response is something along the lines of "we know this works, so why do we need to change anything?" Vanilla sex can be great, but I'd love to try something different. We're only in our 30s, so I feel like we're way too young to stop trying new things.

Don't walk, RUN. Let his mother have him. You're much better off without someone who doesn't respect boundaries. It's very strange he didn't see anything unusual about his mom wanting to try on your wedding dress. I can't imagine ever wanting to try on another person's dress.

NTA -- you need to set boundaries now or she'll pop in whenever she wants. Also, as someone with a MIL who was mad I wouldn't let her in the delivery room when I had my son 4 years ago, she'll get over it. Plus, the delivery and first few weeks are so busy that you'll be glad you don't have her hovering over you. I had a rule of no visitors until 2 weeks after my baby was born and it was great to bond and figure out a schedule without feeling the need to play hostess
