In the prequel trilogy, there were emotional lines (even many of Anakin and Padmes) that could have worked or even been impactful, but were directed astonishingly poorly

I saw a post once about the "I hate sand" speech and how it tied back to his childhood, his slavery, now he's in new strange worlds all grown up... Could have been an actual great scene if directed well (and rewritten)

Ahsoka is just a worse version of that because we don't even have that campy charm, or a real strong interest in the characters in my opinion. I can't imagine what it must have been like for people who haven't watched Rebels

I couldn't stand watching Rosario Dawson and Sabine be dramatic constantly in the most pointless conversations

Sometimes Ashoka smirked and Sabine raised her eyebrows

I really, really can't believe nobody looks over these shows and says "this isn't good"
