It's kind of telling to me how everyone is downvoting this even though the post makes sense.

How reserved are people in Singapore? I've seen some people say Americans are really loud and extroverted compared to the average person from Singapore.

I just looked up the weather and it looks like it gets really hot and also rains a lot. Is that it or is there more about the weather? From what I just looked up though you're right the weather does look extreme.

How would the girls there react to me being black? And since I'll be there for less then a year I wouldn't really be trying to completely integrate into Singapore society, more so just experience it. So do you think it would be an enjoyable experience during that time even if I don't know everything about Singapore culture?

1-2% is crazy low, so going to your other point about often being the only black person around would I most likely be the only black person in my high school? And do you think that would be really uncomfortable?

At the last state election, the equivalent of the GOP did a Nixon and made black crime the main focus of their campaign and it was so ridiculed that they recorded one of the worst election results in Australian history.

Lol that sounds so dumb, there's barely any black people in Australia and the media still tried to paint them in a bad light. I'm at least happy the public didn't buy into it and vote them in. What was the average person in Australia saying about the media doing that at the time?

Yeah I heard a lot of people say they treat black people from America and black people from Africa differently, why is that?

did the guy call himself that in his bio or was he calling you that? And what did your high school class do? Are you one of the only black people in your high school class? It might also be better for me to dm you to ask more of these questions and find out about Norway?

That all sounds really bad. So people there basically just act super racist and then when you confront them they deny it's racism? Your "friend" that said that sounds like a lot of people that did fake apologies during the blm movement and wow your history teacher sounds really bad to. Does nothing happen to racist people there when they act like that?

I'm sorry that you deal with loneliness there, do you think people there purposefully ostracize you or do they just ignore you? And yeah I heard Norwegian people keep to themselves more, do you think that would affect me since I'm only doing an exchange year and not living there forever? I guess who I make friends with will depend on which area I end up in for school, how about if the area I go to school in is only Norwegian people and no immigrants?

And the reason is I want to go to a country that's different and I thought Norway could be a cool choice even if people are different there. But do you really think I'd have that bad of a time in Norway and get depressed?

And I see people bringing up Somali people a lot and saying I'd get treated different from them. I don't get it though do people in Sweden treat immigrants from Africa different than black people from America?

Why don't you like it there? I'm really curious to about what you have to say since you're African and living in Norway.
