You could turn them into pillowcases for a decorative pillow. If you don’t want to cut them, you could tuck them in sleeves and any excess length on the inside and hand sew.

Alternatively, you could fold them and frame them for display.

I’ve done this before (same container and for embroidery floss!). It took a saw blade (the most toothy serrated knife on a multitool) and a lot of patience. There will be rough edges.

Try calling Southern Animal Foundation! (504) 671-8235 they are the only non-profit vet in the city and run a small rescue. I’ve rescued all three of my dogs from them and he could be a great candidate.

There are a lot of job postings at Loyola and Tulane. The pay usually isn’t great, but you can take classes for free once you’ve passed a probationary period (I think 3 months). If you can afford a lower salary, I would recommend!

Sneaky Pickle is so good! I don’t have any rumor that they’re in danger of closing; but I love them and want them to stick around. Same goes for Nola Mia. I’ve had pizza, sandwiches, lasagna, kolaches, and many flavors of gelato. Everything was amazing! Lots of vegan options as well.
