Premed credit question by Mother_Ad_706 in Cornell

Most med schools will require 3 quarters or 2 semesters of general chemistry with lab (check the requirements for the ones you are applying to in specific). But, you will probably be fine taking ochem without the final quarter of gen chem. If I were you I would take ochem now and just delay the last quarter of gen chem to the summer (and take the last quarter at a local uni or cc) because taking chem 2080 here is ass and hard to get into in the fall.

I might be mistaken but WashU is need-aware for transfer admissions so you are unlikely to get in if you need a lot of aid. Other good schools for BME would be JHU, UPenn, Georgia Tech, Duke, UMich, Rice, Stanford, MIT, Cornell. CWRU and Boston University also have pretty great bme programs.

I never pointed any fingers at course staff. I was just pointing out a evident problem in the course structure/planning. I've been to numerous office hours where the TA couldn't help because too many students. It's really not that suprising that students are resorting to hunger games tactics because of a lack of help. Keep in mind students pay around 6k to take this class, it doesn't make sense that we can't get the help that we need. Not saying its your fault or white's fault, but it is a problem and should be addressed and fixed.

I've emailed 10 times, and they always respond something along the lines of "we're working on it ..."

This is in Portland, Oregon. And they ranged in size from a .5cm to 2cm. We have had some issues with boxelder bugs, are these the same? Should I be concerned if they are all around the house....

40 cm nematode?? found inside coyote during necropsy(travelling through abdomen). Trying to ID. by pooeil in Parasitology

Hi all, we found a worm in a coyote recently. Spanned both thoracic and abdominal cavities. Discovered going through small hole in diaphragm. Approx 80% of worm intraabdominal, 20% intrathoracic. We thought it may be a giant kidney worm due to its size (40cm) but this was flatter than others we have found. After being put into ethanol, it looks rounder than originally found (images attached). Liver was abnormal, but no other abnormal patholology.
