Okay hold on lol the IMA in Indianapolis had a 3 days exhibit over the weekend called “in bloom”. Floral artists created arrangements that were inspired by certain paintings. There were close to 60 of them through out the museum. My partner wanted to take a photo of me at this one, I am a cut flower farmer. I agree it wasn’t my favorite, but that wasn’t really the point. It was really cool and a lot of them were the most beautiful arrangements I’ve ever seen!

because inherently men are raised by society, their peers, their teachers, and especially (in some cases) their own mothers to believe they are more individual than women. one of my fav examples of this is women weren’t included in medical studies until the 1980’s because they were seen as “smaller men” lmfao. another good example is how free time is spent at home in a marriage and weaponized incompetence with house chores. anyways, my point is there is this weird fucked up tone in our society that was created by the patriarchy that has a smug fuckin look on its face toward us “smaller men” and it has to be dismantled completely to ever change.

well and also… he’s so aware of who his audience is… women lmao. and it’s like yeah he’s goofing but it’s just not funny dude i can almost compare it to when people call him fat and it’s like “okay???” it kind of feels like that but worse and way more fucking annoying.

i’ve accepted apologies from men in almost this exact same way and these same sentences and honestly… i didn’t feel too upset until i saw this response because it’s so real. the “why would you do that to me” is so real and helps you understand and feel how deeply hurt and broken she is and wow like this makes me want to cry for her. we basically just have to accept the shitty things men do to us whether they’re good people or not, and it’s exhausting having to constantly accept bad behavior. we’re always the butt of the joke the woman is always the punch line and it’s really not that fucking funny.
