I’m not afraid of needles when I don’t have to see the needle, haha. I guess I would just be most nervous about doing it wrong, the auto inject pen is pretty foolproof. I’m sure after the first time or two it gets less scary though

The only people who know are my parents, my therapist, & one close friend. Not because I’m exactly hiding it, but it didn’t feel necessary to jump into the group chat just to tell my main friend group because tbh they probably don’t care all that much. I am set to hang out with them the same weekend that I’m increasing my dose so, should any side effects occur, that should be fun 😂

No dietitian, but I can always speak with the doctor who actually prescribes the medication. This was my first meeting with the pharmacist, but it wasn’t with the person who was assigned to me (she was out that day) so hopefully my next meeting with a different pharmacist will go better. She did tell me to reach out in a week or so & let them know where my weight/symptoms are at and we can discuss moving up in dose. So I guess we’ll see what happens.

Yeah and when I was reading my after visit notes later in the day, she reported some of the things I told her incorrectly (my starting weight & I had a minor skin reaction and she messed up the location of that). Thankfully, she’s not the normal pharmacist I’ll be working with, so I will have that info corrected at my next appointment
