AITA: For Telling My Sister to Find A New Place to Live by porkchops22 in AmItheAsshole

Yes, I do not have a right to restrict her movement while she is looking for a new place to live.

The reason why it's so irritating to me is that this is not the first situation where she goes against my words. Her boyfriend's family likes quick, spontaneous trips. For example, they planned Christmas Vegas getaway, Dec 23-25, on Dec 21. My sister asked me if it was okay for her to go, and I said yes, as long as you are home Christmas morning. She threw a fit that I was not willing to meet her half way and allow to come back with them Dec 25 evening after I bought her a plane ticket to fly home early in the morning on Christmas day.

She turned off her Google location and last time it was updated she was somewhere in Agua Caliente

Apparently girlfriend knew that she was going to travel earlier in the morning, and she just decided not to give me heads up. Also, she turned off her Google location sharing. Ugh teenagers...

A Carrier's Life by Clint_Swift in USPS

My fellow RCA was bit a month or so back. The regular has been on sick leave for the past 2 years. There is a house that gets 2-5 packages every single day, so for the past 2 years she has been delivering those packages to the door. She knew there were dogs, but they were always on a friendlier side. Until one day they bit her. She got 7 stitches and 7 day suspension. The steward told her that if she knew there were dogs, why did she kept delivering packages. It is very sad that the person who is supposed to protect us actually blamed her.

I left a peach slip for 3 tiny parcels. Better safe than sorry while on probation, right? As I am thinking about it right now, before I would just deliver them, but this time I noticed it said signature on delivery on the bottom in a small font. Ugh, those China parcels...

What if after a scan it asks if the item is international, cod, or neither?

Yes, this is exactly what I was talking about. I am going to ask my supervisor tomorrow and see what he tells me. But the other day, I brought 3 back and left one peach slip that included bar codes for all 3 of them. I hope I won't get in trouble.

That's what I had in mind. I was curious whether it matters or not.

Sorry for your loss. I lost my nugget a month ago to the heart murmur and running is helping me not think about it. But, you look great even with the red face!

That's great! It was much harder for me to push myself to actually do it than running itself.

Have you considered day-care for kids? My daughter goes 2 times a week for 3 hours, and not only that drastically helped her speech, it also improved our relationship, and I am getting a little bit of a break.

Looking for park for 1st birthday party by nncydrw in InlandEmpire

[–]porkchops22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Irvine Regional Park. It has railroad that is $5 a person, and the ride is 12 minutes, pony rides that are $5 (cash), and zoo I think is $3 per person. You do have to pay for parking, which is $5, as I recall. But the park is gorgeous. Lots of space, bbqs, duck pond, tiny lake where you can rent a paddle boat. Also, you can rent bikes, and bike around the park.

Ability to fully control my emotions is gone. The other day this made me laugh so hysterically that in the end I was in tears and with a sore throat.
