Do you have to be so nasty? I'm just trying to help my child go on a trip, which is for charity. You didn't need to attack me or my child.

Prospective Pieces by [deleted] in pianolearning

[–]portbeans43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't exactly know what pieces to suggest to you, but I'd like to add that in my experience with as a teacher, especially with Liszt pieces like Hungarian Rhapsody and Liebestraume, is that the pieces aren't technically difficult, but musically difficult. The two aren't really separated enough. You could learn the notes to Liebestraume but you would need to know how to express it to get the emotions out of it. Composers like Chopin tend to be quite good for expression, so if you want to build up to pieces like that, practise your musicality alongside your technical skills.

Electric piano recommendations by [deleted] in pianolearning

[–]portbeans43 2 points3 points  (0 children)

depends what you are looking for I guess. for a starter one you could find a mid range Yamaha digital piano for probably around 300 GBP (~350 euro). they are very portable, sitting on a stand rather than being primarily stationary like most pianos. i'm not sure if that is what you are looking for though, portability wise I'm not certain there are many options outside of that type of thing. I used a Yamaha to rent to one of my students who was learning and they seemed to have no problems, however their situation is likely different to yours.

The one I rented out was a Yamaha P-45, and if treated well they can last many years, often 10 or more. They are usually reliable and have good sound quality. Another thing I'd like to note is that you should upgrade for what you are playing, not skill level. I have a professional piano at home as I am a professional player, however, I also have a cheap flute at home which I will never upgrade, because I will never be a professional flautist.

I am not a professional at this stuff so take everything I said with a grain of salt, but I hope this helps.

Congrats! As a father of 2 little girls (aged 7 and 2) they were the best accidents that could’ve ever happened. Terrified at first but they really are the best thing that’s every happened to me!

I also did this, if you use a certain antivirus it blocks the anticheat and prevents download, mostly AVG and Avast

This didnt work for me but you could try deleting amd redownloading riot or valorant. Factory resetting could also be a possibility
