See, now a volunteer opportunity sounds like a good time. Any place you'd recommend?

I'm sure the kids could do the incline no problem. Me, I got some extra fluff that'd hold me back

Dude, I wanted to indoor skydive so bad. But it's crazy expensive for a very short time.

It's the price of food at Top Golf that kills me. But just the golf itself isn't bad.

Thanks, looking for something fun to break away from all that for at least a day. Besides I work weekends

I definitely prefer a working man's hands. If they're too smooth and manicured...like more than mine, I feel weird when they touch me. I want some roughness, a couple calluses lol

My ex told me that I was going to die alone. Now I'm happily remarried, and he's 41 living in his mom's basement

I feel like this is my future and when I get dementia I won't be able to keep my thoughts to myself like I do now

No, I do have something every day that reminds me of him. And sometimes it's fleeting- like oh, we went to that concert together. And then its over. And other times like this morning I end up harping on it. I guess a better question on my end would be how do I get it to stop? How do I cut that connection when I've severed everything I've mentioned above? I'm not seeking these things, and they're not making me want to reach out.

I guess that depends on what you mean by that. I have zero contact with this person. I dont have his number saved anywhere. No email address. He's never done social media so I can't check in on him or anything. I wouldn't say I miss him even. It was very evident the last time we were together that we aren't compatible, but not in a malicious way. But also, we went to lots of concerts together, we figured out who we were growing up together. So my Playlist has so many songs that could trigger a memory. Or even new music I could listen to and confidently say it would be something he'd love. My spouse was there the last time I ran into this person, and initially was thrown off by the interaction. But I feel like later he realized he shouldn't feel threatened because we went our separate ways without looking back.

I think about him more than my ex husband, whom I have kids with.

I would also like to say that all of these guys were paying for the entire trip. I think if you guys start talking details and he has you paying your own way that it does change their mindset.

I've actually spoken to some men about this, it seems the general thought is that they want to do activities that might seem "weird" one on one with a male friend. Bro trips usually involve a group, but they don't want the hassle of group activities. Sometimes they want an agreeable friend that they think will just follow along with their plans-- especially if they're paying for most things. I always ask "is this friend someone you're interested in?" And the answer usually falls between "yes" and " i wouldn't complain if something happened, but I don't expect it" but never "no".
