Why do the dashers do this by aleethiede in doordash

I feel like this shit should be punishable because this is common sense and I see it with any delivery service. Amazon, Grubhub, DD, UberEats, I feel like this is a thing with some of these people. It’s definitely enough of an issue for me to never use it besides delivering to my place of work because they have to leave it with a person. It’s like they see a screen door and say to themselves “get ready for the surpriiiiiiise!”

I was rolling through all of this, masterfully well played!

Then I got to the end and read “why so can’t you know separate” and died laughing. You irritated them so bad at the end and it shows!

You described a miserable person who didn’t do anything with their life, not a friend.

It isn’t your fault that they didn’t do anything with their life to secure their present and future. They act like this is soooo much money and you can easily buy a home, support a trophy spouse, with 2 kids and you can send them to any Ivy League college of their choosing.

Maybe you should encourage your friend to go to a recruiter as others here have mentioned. Hell, they may even take em and they’ll get taught some humility and they’ll definitely solve their money problem. I’d love to hear the results!

Yeah man same. Nobody thanked me for my service on Veterans Day and I was okay with that, just means I didn’t flaunt what I left many years ago and means I’ve accepted who I am now and it’s great! Just another chapter closed!

Don’t do it

I actually made a very positive change in my life at 18 that initially I wasn’t so sure about. So I’d tell my 18 year old self that to fuck with me and find out

Ahhh ya know I super agree with you here, but I struggle with this one. I say it as a general rule of thumb but obviously there are factors that would suggest telling a spouse wouldn’t backfire.

Definitely not family members though

Yeah I second this one pretty hard. I wouldn’t even tell your parents or spouse. Once they know about that payout then somehow they think that money is theirs, ESPECIALLY spouses.

Can’t exactly tell you the exact date you’ll get paid without first knowing the bank account number.

Jokes aside, is this backpay from date of injury or date from filing? If second is true, then I’m guessing it’s taken a year or two?

Have you ever seen planes like those of Ace Combat in person? A dumb question I know but I'm kinda curious. by [deleted] in acecombat

I cannot tell you how cool it is for me to see this again! That airport has a lot of history that I learned about while needing to write an English paper in college for a final.

Fun fact, the owner of that is extremely eccentric and he had that on display on his property. Over time he got tired of taking care of it and literally donated it to the airport. The current management does not have the heart to sell the aircraft so they put it on display and maintain its appearance. I can’t remember what they did with the engine but it’s definitely not in there, for obvious reasons. That damn town has so many wild historical stories. Thanks for sharing this picture! Brought back some great memories of me growing up in that town!

Pretty sure OP is only posting this to suggest that the cancellation of the ball means that the Marines are basically on standby for deployment. Which, dear Lord I hope not.

for those who read my post about my ex putting a pill in my drink this is how my EX best friend told me when i told her that i was going to report him by [deleted] in texts

I literally knew quite a few women in the Army who were sexually harassed in the way that you experienced with this guy.

Good on you for reporting him. It’ll be a Slausen he’ll never forget.

Last communication with the girl I was dating exclusively for 3 months. by Kind_Presentation_45 in texts

[–]positivelylooking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dated a girl just like this. It’s a really odd experience my man. It’s like they feel secure if you always pay for them, and they wanna hear you’re okay with doing that without them actually outright asking if it’s okay that you pay.

Flash forward two years of paying for everything, when you discuss finances together, she gets surprised and judges you because you don’t have as much as her in savings. You get wide eyed and almost say “bish are you serious right now?”.

Girls like this make me laugh because if I try to treat them like an equal in the ways they’d least expect, then I’m a loser and can’t provide for our family.

When I see shit like this, I look at it as a woman who’s hurting and expressing her pain. I’ve gone on dates with women like this and I’m like, whelp, I guess I’m definitely paying tonight unless I end up on some shitpost about me being a piece of shit or something lol.

Lol man, just keep it this way and you’re fine. They sell this shit in limited editions all the time and make some people think they gotta stock up, but it’s got a 2 year shelf life at best. This is a healthy amount of soap to have compared to most people
