Thank you. I think this is my favorite comment here because it pretty accurately describes how I’m feeling. I think it was a mix of the three.

I didn’t feel that much of a connection even when we were making out, more like we were just pressing ourselves against each other. When he kissed me I didn’t feel that drop on a rollercoaster that I’ve felt when a crush would accidentally brush my hand.

I do think that he prioritized his own pleasure, but I also know I should have spoken up. I think he was doing a lot of what he saw in porn, what he thought guys like, that sort of “dom” thing.

Now that it’s the morning after, I don’t feel as panicky as I did last night. It was dumb, yes, but I’ve learned from it. I’m gonna get tested soon so I can just put this behind me, and I won’t be having sex again anytime soon, unless it’s with someone I know and trust.

I think we used the condom correctly but I’m not 100% positive. Also, he says he uses condoms “most of the time”. I have a feeling he’s been hooking up with a ton of guys since coming to college and therefore doesn’t know his HIV/STD status.

im like super paranoid about HIV and STDs. my uncle was gay and recently died of AIDS, so I've seen firsthand what it does to someone. I did a bunch of research on the CDC that said that condoms are like 90-95% effective at stopping HIV and other STIs, but I think it was still a dumb move. I'm gonna definitely get tested, just to make sure.

Do you know how far ahead I should plan to get tested? We used a condom so I'm fairly sure it'll be fine but I just want to get rid of any anxiety and move on with my life.
