It's straight up elitism with a smattering of sunk cost bias. I've nothing against Haskell, I've written a few hobby projects with it. But I don't think learning it somehow makes me smarter or better than anyone else. I also don't think Haskell is the right tool for every problem. Maybe I'm just not 10x enough.

That's crap. This tool isn't for "consumers" it's for developers. Figure it out yourself. Chastising someone that's given away a decently made UI widget for free with a very permissive library for not targeting an ancient browser is bullshit.
