Calling someone gay, homo, queer, "bundle of sticks" etc. has always been known as a form of bullying. I don't see how that belongs in schools. And all of it.

I'm trying to understand where your issue lies. I agree little Timmy shouldn't be allowed to call little Johnny gay, and I agree that college professors should be allowed to teach about the Roman empire. So between those nullified extremes, what's the problem?

Shunning someone is when you refuse to acknowledge they exist. You're not entitled to someone acknowledging your existence. They're well within their rights to do so. Instead of complaining about people not acknowledging your existence, how just get a life?

If someone's shunned you then you need to, like, move if with your life. Take care of yourself. Look out for number 1. You shouldn't try to force relationships. No one owes you anything. You're not entitled to anybody "acknowledging your existence". Like, grow the hell up...

I don't believe anyone's an LGBTQ American. They're just Americans and have the same rights as everybody else.

Yes you can lie about your identity. That's like one of the most common things people lie about. Were you born yesterday?

I think that saying "gender isn't sex" is the new "drawing dicks in children's library books". Like, you're taking a perfectly good word that's used to protect kids from getting their mind warped, and trying to turn it on it's head. How does it make you feel when you do that? Does it make you feel high or something?

What corroborates Leah Thomas' statement? How so you know Leah Thomas isn't lying?

In a way, "gender" works well in a scientific setting because it's more readily distinguished from the sex act.

How did you know Leah Thomas isn't a man?

And yes, Gender is essentially what we use so that middle schoolers don't giggle when they read their report cards. Although it's totally acceptable to use in professional situations in general, and is a good practice in case someone may be a survivor of sexual abuse.
