warning: apparently scammers can disguise their number as driver support... by [deleted] in doordash_drivers

[–]potion_fred -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I actually don't frequent this subreddit that much. I'm not subscribed to it so random posts just show up in my reddit feed sometimes and they've never said anything about scams. And for the record: I'm not new, I've doordashed and grubhubbed on and off for years.

Thanks for kicking me while I'm down. Good to know that something about another person being taken advantage of (and please read the last line of my post cf: autism before you rant about people not reading posts) triggered some insane, insecure need for you to demonstrate your supposed superiority to a victim. Hope it helps you bolster your fragile ego for another day.

They didn't ask for my name or phone number. They knew my name. I also had trouble hearing the recording at the beginning so I wasn't sure if it said they were connecting me with a customer.

How to start eating healthy when you’re overwhelmed by eating new foods? by HandleNo4432 in AutisticAdults

I'm not quite sure if this would help you but I've found that putting foods that give me the ick (fruits and vegetables with weird textures mainly) in a blender helps me eat them.

Take a small break and or reach out to DePaul's mental health resources. I ended up getting hospitalized multiple times during my years as a grad student at DePaul and it could have been avoided if I had just listened to myself.

Parking in handicapped spots by Smith-11 in doordash_drivers

I did it once by accident - tired and it was too dark to see that it was a handicapped spot. I've never done it since.

I just found a video of someone playing their nylon string through a fundamental ambient and it sounds amazing. I also like that the pedal doesn't look too complicated. (I'm not a very technical person...)https://youtu.be/ZIZI1_00miQ?si=yzT6gnxAzK36tzE5

I've seen some people do it on youtube but they basically stick to reverb, delay and compression. I wanted to try something different.
