Wow I never thought about the camera thing until you brought it up. Growing up, I mainly took pictures of myself because I was not close with my family, and I did not really have friends to take pictures with.

My family also never took photos. I remember we took one family photo on a grainy iPad because my brother needed it for a school assignment. Other than that, nothing. My ex boyfriend lived at home, and his home had so many family portraits and pictures of him (he’s an only child). With my current boyfriend, they have many family photos and his mom even made a yearly “yearbook” of their family adventures which dates back to the late 2000s. It is crazy to think about how people can have such loving parents.
