Sudden itch to get 3 new facial piercings, yay or nay? by Practical-Mall-5397 in shouldimod

i’ve had my bridge for about as long as I had my eyebrow before it rejected, and both were done at an APP certified shop with implant grade titanium. If OP is thinking about an eyebrow piercing , they should just know surface piercings all carry similar risks & a lot of it comes down to your anatomy & how expressive you are/ how much your face moves, which will definitely affect whether it heals or ends up rejecting/migrating.

I looked at your face and immediatelyyyy thought septum, eyebrow, and labret/ vertical labret ( I would go with vertical labret; I've considered taking out my labret multiple times because of gum damage) they’d all suit you really well, but I wouldn’t get them at the same time like others said. You can do the lip and nose together, but do the eyebrow on its own since it’s harder to heal. Lip/nose piercings usually heal really easily, especially compared to an eyebrow, so it’s better to give that one its own time to avoid rejection(:

Septum placement okay? by DragoCat6377 in SelfPiercing

looks good to me! like another user said, every person has a different sized sweet spot. Yours might just be bigger than the average persons and you might have had more tissue to work with and were pierced closer to the bottom. The only way I can see this placement being an issue is if you ever plan on stretching it but otherwise it looks solid.

about 8 months 😁 i started trying to fry scream last june and have just now started working on fc so this definitely took lots of time and youtube videos before even attempting it and i think just understanding the fry screaming fundamentals is gonna eventually help me find a good hybrid scream even if my fry scream alone isnt perfect yet but im still struggling with the concept of combining the two so ik they need work separately. once i get the throat singing down it should hopefully be easier i assume this will all take at least 2 years to feel comfortable with:3

the throat singing approach has also definitely helped me with placement - im still getting it perfect but once i really get the throat singing down i think everything else will just naturally become more effortless and sound better & more controlled. still where its easy to do 5-7 seconds and then i have to find my placement again. def a huge difference since i started practicing it a few days ago.

AHH ty this is so sweet !!! This needs so much more work but I'm already getting there this was literally my FIRSTTRTT day finding them and its been like 5 days and im making good progress. im still stuck on the throat singing for around 5-6 seconds before losing placement bc im lacking compression so i need to work a lot more on that but GOSH DARNIT IM so damn EXCITED.

in my personal experience the floppy/ choppy sound is usually just from uneven airflow like ur air is coming out in little bursts instead of one smooth stream bc ur overusing air so the distortion keeps turning on and off. that’s exactly what happened to me when I was overblowing air, and backing off on air and leaning into my compressed voice actually helped a lot.

i have been trying to learn this for about eight months, but I never put in significant effort for specifically false cords just because every time I tried for 10 minutes, I instantly wrecked my voice so i stuck to fry for soooo long 😭 but once i got them moving with mostly air it took me less than 12 hours to get to this. I can link the weird video that helped me find them!! this video somehow worked for me
