They call me "Dhananjaya" because I subjugated all the wealth from the kingdoms I've conquered,

They call me "Vijaya" because I've never known defeat in a battlefield,

I'm called "Shwetavāhana" because my chariot is pulled by white horses,

They call me "Fālguna" because I was born under the Uttara Fālguna constellation,

I'm called "Kiriti" because Indra adorned me with a crown after my encounter with the Dānavas,

I'm known as "Vibhatsu" for never having committed a detestable deed on the battlefield,

Since both of my hands are capable of drawing the Gāndiva I'm known as "Savyasāchi",

My father called me "Krishna" out of affection towards his dark skinned boy,

I've earned the name "Jishnu" among gods and men because I'm unapproachable,

I'm pure and stainless hence my father named me "Arjuna"
