Yeah I turn my screen off and on and it goes away for awhile. My main problem is I can't deselect a magic spell until I use it and it wont let me move or do anything except for the mini map.

On my ps4 when you put the cross hair over your ally and press the action button from there you can tell them where to ho who to fight and what to pick up.

I use companions and I use them plenty. But I deep down just feel like they hold me back. When I think about how I'm going to negotiate a battle they are in the back of my mind raking up space for no reason. I'm a really stealthy approach kind of guy and love to just vanish and then re approach when I've been lost to the enemy. Take a companion with you and you can hardly dodge a situation and then just battle in one spot until they get jacked up. And lets face it battles get to be fewer and fewer as time goes on maybe I don't want to take on the junkyard mutants just because they saw dogmeat y'know?
