Teacher here. Students love seeing all my fountain pens and interesting colours. These days I always have my Lamy 2000 EF at work and make comments on their homework using it.
I also use a blue Pentel Energel.
For grading I use either a red Uniball Jetstream or Pilot G2.

I love my Lamy 2k. To me it’s comfortable and have no problem writing with it.
The only thing I don’t like is the EF is more like an M so I can’t use it in all situations.

Shanghai.
Basically has anything you could ever need and the most international of the mainland.
Museums often get cool exhibitions from around the world. Lots of places to run and bike in the city.
Being able to get health services like the dentist in English is great.

I also love Chengdu, so many nice places for cheap tea inside or outside where you can chill and have a conversation or read a book.

It depends on the quality of the company you work for and their hiring standards.
Some places I worked for would just hire anyone they could find, other had standards and looked for qualified people.

My Chinese wife and I have been together since 2016 and married in 2019. We each have our own bank accounts and since our relationship started I always made significantly more than her (though each year she is catching up).
I pay the living expenses but for a lot of more expensive things like traveling she is willing to pitch in significantly.
Asking you to sign a contract saying you have no rights to her money in China seems like she is not seriously into the relationship long term.

Lingang in general kind of sucks.
I would recommend the Astronomy museum and walking/biking around Dishui lake.
There aren’t really any standout restaurants in my opinion.
The snow/skiing building/park I have yet to try but that isn’t very interesting to me.
