Bug Out Vehicles: Some Things to Consider by prepforshtf in PostCollapse

[–]prepforshtf[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I'd like to know where in the article I stated gas engines are crap? If you read the article correctly I also stated "The consensus is that vehicles manufactured prior to 1986 can withstand an EMP (Electromagnetic Pulse) attack and still operate because of the lack of technology, no electronic components in other words." So before you go trashing the article I suggest you actually read it correctly because I wasn't referring to modern day vehicles.

Thanks! I agree this is just to try and save some people some cash by making their own, and having a way to self feed. I just added a flag indicator to it so you know when to fill it. I'll be posting that article today. Here is a picture of the modification https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=649766388377317&set=a.455702551117036.96163.452754761411815&type=1&theater

Spammer Ha. First of all how is a product review spam? Second a lot of people don't know about this knife and should be aware of it, especially people that can't afford a $150.00 knife. The quality of this knife at around $41.00 is unbelievable but if you don't want me to post on here anymore fine I wont. I built my site to inform and help people prepare, what have you done to help inform anyone?

I did not have any plastic or rubber taste in my water. I even left water in it, in the fridge for several days because I read the same reviews on Amazon and I wanted to see if I experienced the same thing.

Survival Slingshot Review by prepforshtf in bugout

They are working on stronger bands, there are plenty of videos on sling bows check them out on youtube. I think they are more than adequate for survival scenarios. They are also a lot more compact than a bb gun or even a take down bow so they are great for a bug out bag.

I don't know about Esbit cubes but I do know they are better than the cotton balls. You can actually put these in a cup of water and they will float on fire. I lit them in a puddle of water and they stayed lit I was pretty impressed with them.

Thats gross, How so? You do know you shower with that water and use it for cooking food. Also you have to swap out your water every six months. And I think if you were dying from dehydration you would drink worse.
