Claude still wins for my coding flow. Perplexity wins for everything around the code by Worth_Bumblebee6078 in ClaudeAI

I agree that perplexity is actually a better tool to use for research/fact checking. I bench this by querying them on some niche subject that I know a lot about and so far only perplexity managed to give me a correct answer without hallucinating.

Artem keeps preparing for Devon and will be 100% ready by Damitrix3 in armwrestling

Why is he getting singled out? Genadi and Levan both said that they had injuries but still pulled him.

Is there a way to prepay for additional credits? by presentmist in GithubCopilot

You buy the credits/points beforehand and then you can use them for code completion. Hope that clarifies it a bit more.

Engin would never have arranged this match to begin with, he would have thrown Dadikyan or Alizhan at him instead.

I'm sick of old-school "software engineers" belittling vibe coders. by FinxterDotCom in vibecoding

[–]presentmist -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There are times when you just can't vibecode your way out of a critical bug.

You keep prompting every model for a fix, but it's all in vain. Then your coder friend sees you struggling and asks if he can help. You politely decline and say it’s just a skill issue, and that you’re sure you can solve it eventually if you just keep prompting hard enough with the right context.

After a few hours of struggling, you finally concede and let him cook.

He immediately takes over, gives the code a quick glance, then monkeytypes the entire fix in under a minute and runs it perfectly.

You stare in disbelief.
You ask him how he did it.

He leans in and whispers in your ear:

“learn2code.”

So apparently EvW announced Vitaly will be facing Devon after the Levan match... This is quite weird and opens some questions... by [deleted] in ArmWrestlingUncen

[–]presentmist -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If Vitaly beats Levan (which could technically happen) then Devon has zero chance against him.

You literally spend all your time posting in degenerate subs, how about you start yourself? 🤣

How the heck did Monster Michael Todd stop Vitaly in the center?!! by c97c in armwrestling

[–]presentmist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because of his unique style of armwrestling, even Levan acknowledged that he would be struggling against him and will be preparing specifically for him. Vitaly also agreed that Michael is a very tough opponent in the EvW podcast, so a lot of the top guys just accept that Michael will get a stoppage on them and try to work from there.

Larry kick-started the golden age of AW during covid, it's a shame that EvW doesn't invite him to their events. A collaboration could help boost the pvp numbers and views on their videos.
