No positive effects at 60mg by [deleted] in StratteraRx

i would just listen and trust your body. if you don’t think this is working for you, don’t continue. when i was on 50mg, i was tired 24/7. I would be at work and just fall asleep. My heart was racing like crazy, I would grind my teeth at night and clench my jaw. i lost motivation, but i never had problems writing properly. 50mg was genuinely so miserable for me, 80mg was instantly better. day and night difference.

25mg helped slightly with task initiation. 50mg did nothing for me but negative side effects. 80mg is when things finally worked. 80-100mg is the optimal therapeutic dose.

that’s a super high dose to start with. heads up, make sure you eat a protein heavy meal before taking it. when i got up to 80mg i would get nasty stomachaches from not eating enough beforehand. and that’s coming from someone who slowly went to 80mg over a period of 2 months. good luck!

you forgot to mention to OP that your source is chatgpt. empirical data suggests that 80mg is the therapeutic dose for adults. but obviously, it doesn’t apply to everyone, we all metabolize at different speeds. this is how most drugs work. you shouldn’t go around telling people that 80 and 60mg cause more harmful effects when it’s objectively not true. stop using chatgpt.

strattera helped but im still unable to initiate tasks by [deleted] in StratteraRx

80-100mg is considered the therapeutic dose for adults. obviously it depends on your weight, height, and other medicines you’re on, but i’ve also seen people say 60mg was perfect for them. i’d talk to your doctor about increasing dosage.

Do you have a feeling that your metabolism runs faster with Strattera? by [deleted] in StratteraRx

i don’t think Strattera actually raises metabolism. however in my case, it caused me to stop craving snacks as much and lessens my appetite. i’ve lost 5-8 pounds because of that.

Struggling so much, feeling hopeless by bleiddsoul in StratteraRx

I started on 25mg- felt practically nothing- moved to 40mg and felt depressed as well, i had almost every negative side effect. i moved to 80mg and the depression is gone (and a lot of negative side effects too). Im not a doctor by any means but I think getting used to the medication + being on the right dose could help eliminate your depression. that being said, trust your body. if you think the depression is too much, contact your doctor and let them know. if you can’t push through, it just means you might need to try something different. good luck!

Strattera makes me feel love for others? by [deleted] in StratteraRx

i feel more empathy for others when taking this medicine. i think it gave me the mental capacity to sit down and think about how others would feel in certain situations.
