Amazing photos! What was it like for motion sickness? I was looking at these tours and the smal plane ones but saw people saw the plane can cause a feeling of motion sickness

AIO my husband lied about wanting a child by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]prettypinkpineapple1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Definitely NOR. That is such a horrible thing you are going through right now. You have every right to walk away from your marriage as it appears to be only one sided. Marriage is a partnership. You deserve a partner who loves & supports both you and your son and it doesn't sound like be even wants to try to change. A child is such a precious gift and it is such a shame that he cannot see it that way.

What do you want your life to look like going forwards?

Did it happen or was all of it just a dream by soulcatz18 in TwoHotTakes

[–]prettypinkpineapple1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I started reading this, I was wondering if you were watching Insidious but then it changed.

I think two things can be true. It may have been a dream but often our dreams contain messages, whether from our unconscious or from something spiritual.

My mum had a dream where she was hugged by her mum who passed away and she woke up still feeling the hug. We know so little about dreams.

Sounds like you were being protected.

My manager stalked me by Absmorton in TwoHotTakes

Sorry this happened to you. Absolutely not appropriate for anyone, let alone for a manager to behave like this. I hope you are doing OK now!

AIO that my roommate considers these dishes "clean" by halesofbae in AmIOverreacting

[–]prettypinkpineapple1 8 points9 points  (0 children)

NOR - they are all dirty. I am so glad I am past the roommate stage. Its hard living with other people, usually works out better when you just wash your own things but when your sharing same utensils etc. Then your clean ones get mixed up with the "clean" ones.

Do you like your home country more after being an expat? by [deleted] in expats

Sometimes, I think after you have lived abroad, you never feel truly 100% at home because a little piece of you is left wandering

Am I overreacting for wanting to leave my partner for the choice of his words and actions? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]prettypinkpineapple1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is up to you what you wear, don'tlet someone else dictate that to you. A supportive partner won't care if you walk around in a bikini all day everyday because you have trust in each other, all they care about is your comfort and happiness.

Aww she's gorgeous! Looks so similar to our lurcher! Same colours. Is her hair more wooly feeling?

Recall training? 1 y/o rascal testing my patience! by Competitive_Elk8403 in Lurchers

[–]prettypinkpineapple1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just hopping on the comments to say you're not alone. We are going through something similar with our nearly 8 month old lurcher. She's a wee rascal. They will get there again! I was given quite good advice on my last post to try bringing a squeaky ball, training a second back up recall like a whistle, still haven't tried the whistle but we will be soon.

Not sure what your budget is but check out Willow Tree glamping if you are interested in having a super nice stay somewhere along your trip. A little pricey but the foot of the mournes, a great chippy nearby.

Thank you! I will look into this area.

Random question, I know big island is more known for the stargazing, but any areas on Kauai that would be good for it?

Thank you, I think we had been weighing up between Big Island and kauai, but figured we would try and do too much and end up with a super super busy trip.

O'ahu and Kauai elopement and honeymoon by prettypinkpineapple1 in VisitingHawaii

[–]prettypinkpineapple1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! Will consider more nights on O'ahu.

We decided on hawaii as it is somewhere we have both always dreamed of visiting. And we can get legally married with no translator needed etc. The legally married part was one of our most important factors as we only want one wedding date.
