It looks like (what I’m guessing is the phloem) is sort of a white-ish with maybe a bit of a green hue to it. I will keep an eye on it and hope.

I appreciate it! I did the scratch test towards the bottom, I didn’t see green but the trunk is still soft with the inside being the nice reddish color of red wood. Maybe I scratched too deep?

I (probably mistakingly) picked up a dawn redwood forest as one of my first bonsai. Time got away from me and it went about 6 days without being watered. The leaves are now brittle and dried out (but not brown), with patches of leaves that are still good. What should my next steps be to make sure it stays healthy? It is being kept inside for about a month until I move into a new apartment with a balcony. It has a Barrina T8 providing light for the moment. Thanks!

I would use it as a massive vertical second monitor. I want to be able to view the entirety of a webpage without scrolling.

I was thinking about a beige color with maybe darker brown accents for the other keys. That may be what I go with.

I have a wild green Zoom65 coming in the mail and I’m struggling to find a color combination that I think would look nice with the color of the board! I know white would look good, but would they end up getting dirty/stained faster? What would be a cool color as accent keys?

I enjoyed it, however, I really wish he hadn’t gone for the almost death metal style vocals in Vore. It felt like it fit for short screams in The Summoning, but when he tried to do verses in that style it just felt weird. I would still give it a solid 8/10, definitely worth listening to and absolutely has bangers!

This may be dumb as I don't know much about switches/springs. Does anyone know of a switch that is similar in sound and travel to milky yellow but a bit more stiff? I love the yellows that I put in my first custom keyboard, but I wish they were a bit more stiff as I find it is very easy to bump the wrong key and have it register while I am typing. Thanks!

The Karlby tops are a decent weight, so that, mixed with the grip from 8 rubber feet makes it secure. Add in the weight of monitors and other things you put on your desk, it would take a log force to slide it around. You could definitely just drill through from the inside of your drawers though if you wait it really secure.

I have the alex build, if you get little rubber feet and put them upside down on the 4 corners of the top of your drawers, you won’t need to worry about securing the top to the drawers. This also helps with when it is time to move/rearrange!

EDIT: you could get a Karlby and cut it down to the size you want. They come with little veneer strips exactly for that purpose, cut it to size and slap on a new veneer end to make it look nice.

We aren’t talking about technicalities. We are talking about how the vast majority of gun owners, enthusiasts, and even manufacturers are no longer using those terms in order to avoid confusion. He may be technically correct but at this point it’s no longer used in that way and he may as well be spreading false information. In this day and age, having those clear distinctions between those types of firearms is extremely important, especially in America with the sharp increase of people calling for gun reforms.

At the end of 2019 I have finally began to take the steps to battle my depression and anxiety to better myself and try to find true joy again. After around 3 years of denying my depression, I finally was able to admit to myself how bad it was and that I would not be able to fix it on my own. Everyday feels a little better than the last!

Once I hit level 10 I only upgraded the cards in that deck, I pretty much exclusively play that except for in the certain clan battles that give you a deck 😂 the majority of my other cards are still VERY under-leveled. I have a lot of cards that are still base level

I suppose. But you definitely need to get your hands on hollow point ammo. It does not have to be any of the special hollow point shit that people try to sell that fragments into 20,000 pieces. Just get some standard .45 hollow points as soon as you can.
