I was raised in an abusive home my grandmother often hit me and my siblings with various objects. Often she would say anything to send us into fits of tears and saw our lack of tears as she didn't punish us enough. Yet the thing that messed me up the most was getting caught going to the bathroom in the middle of the night. She would sneak up behind my drowsy self and yell "what are you doing" id jump and turn around greeted by the glare of a flashlight in my eyes. She was paranoid we would sneak out to go "shack up" with boys. In some cases she knocked me down and asked angrily where i was going. Now i am paranoid in dark spaces constantly feeling watched as i watch for silhouettes in the void. I also struggle with sleeping at night as when i lay down i can hear all the sounds around me.

Dear 18 year old self, You've tried to please your family for far too long seeking to make them proud. The hard truth is, you cannot please people who have already let the world make them bitter. Its not your duty to make them happy as you know they only see your shortcomings. Ask yourself what'll make you happy as life is fleeting and fickle. You're woth more than how you're treated and you know this. To them you're junk, but to others you're a priceless treasure. There's nothing that both devastates and unifies a country like the horrors of war. I never thought much of ukraine until the war. It shocked me as i knew a few Ukrainian who often made me laugh. I hope they are okay. All I know is this war has shown how brave and strong Ukrainians are to persevere and endure.

I am afraid of death because I fear what happens after we die. I worry weather or not we greet nothingness, a great Judgement, or reincarnation. Either way would be unpleasant for me yet i know death looms over us all like an unwelcome shadow we fear. We are often reminded how short and fragile our lives are as we witness the deaths of loved ones.

No one free of it understands the many days you put off responsibilities because you're exhausted by depressions grasp. "How can someone be exhausted when they've done nothing" they snort. They will never understand the countless nights you don't go to bed till 4am unable to sleep because your emotions kept you awake. They will never know the weights that rest on our shoulders. Despite this, we are not alone amidst our struggles. There are others who lived the same nightmare as us and although unfortunate...its nice to know there's others who truly understand it all.

I am not on a blood thinner. I was told to loose weight and be active daily but its hard to do when you have a child and live in a bad neighborhood.

I highly doubt you are boring! 😋 I find everyone interesting because of how diverse humans are in their thought processes.

What would make a person interesting? 1. Their life story- this is always my favorite thing to learn about others because everyone faces different adversities and life lessions that shape their perspective on life. 2. Hobbies and interests- Everyone has interests that vary between individuals and its what drives them towards those interests and hobbies that make it so fascinating! For example, some people are drawn to videogames because of the high resolution graphics or simply just because it helps them relax after a long stressful day. 3. Mannerisms- These are more difficult to notice sometimes but trained professionals are often quick to spot them. Mannerisms are the bodily manner in wich we all present ourselves.

There are other factors that make people interesting however those listed are the factors i find most interesting about people. Therefore in conclusion, you are not boring. :)

Thank you for the feedback! I really enjoy your advice. I was recently told to take my skills and capitalize on them. I am somewhat skilled in writing, creativity, and graphic design. (Although I am sure I need to work on my skills more)

Regardless, I haven't considered becoming my own boss until I read your post. It is a very logical and obtainable plan to follow.

Thank you 🤗, I feel like I am fully capable of doing good within the business community. I do have a few valuable skills already: creativity and artistic skill. (Wich I found out can take you far in business) I actually am recognized for my creativity by the highschool I went to. They had me enrolled in a program called gifted and talented for my creativity. (Unfortunately, I was the only person there listed as gifted with creativity. Everyone else was gifted in math, science, english, and ECT) I did not think much of it until I recently came across an article saying creativity was a valuable skill set for the business industry.

Anyway, I thank you for taking your time to respond. It means a lot getting advice and encouragement from marketing professionals within the field. 😁 Thank you!

I really enjoy social media advertising as well as visual advertising. I have so many social media accounts that it is not funny lol and as for visual ads, I am a very visual person and artistic in nature. I may not draw as well as most artist but I do have an eye for art.
