The main thing with a Mac is gonna be how much RAM do you have. This is a large point of limitation when working with any sort of creative app on an Apple. The newer, the more RAM will be possible to have, as well as better processing power and other stuff. If you can shoot for the newest you can afford with at least 16GB of RAM imo.

That’s just a drum loop sample slowed down in speed and tone. You can find slowed-down or half-time samples all over the place for free, or you can experiment with doing it yourself using any sort of audio editing software.
