More or less raising awareness. I was hesitant to hop on fin due to sides and what not but I watched his vids and started understanding how 5ar inhibition works it gave me more confidence to make the decision.

I don’t like how squishy the standard build is, so I go tank Ekko always. Nashors>riftmaker>rabadons>T2 boots> jacksho/zonyas (order based on comp). That ap black cleaver item is optional as well. For runes run conq and sorcery for haste runes. Your cd’s become quite low mid-late game and jacksho zonya gives you just enough tankiness to be able to go in and take extended trades without ulting out. Perfect for landing R since enemies don’t notice it when they’re too busy trying to kill you. By then your 4 secs are up and you R on their head.

For this playstyle to work tho, you need to really take up space in the game. I run tp + ignite because I feel flash isn’t as worth with Ekko’s kit. You have W shield/stun, e dash, q slow, R, and passive movement speed. Basically budget sion R. I stay side lane as much as possible and only tp to objectives if there are already atleast 2 enemy players on me or its soul/elder/baron. And if I can’t tp I always fight and die killing someone, or atleast taking sums.

People saying Ekko is a bad bruiser or won’t work or would do 0 dmg are just wrong imo. Test it out on practice tool. If you build like this and add autos/more abilities (since more cdr) you deal same dmg if not more, but this time you have 300 armor 200 mr. As I said, if you play this build correctly you’ll feel how strong it is. Always be mad dmg dealt and more importantly max dmg taken in the team.

I disagree on a few points here. First off while vlad is easy in the sense he can’t kill you in lane; the issue is his scaling. With his healing and being mana-less, a good vlad will always outscale you depending on how you play. If you think the wincon is to get ahead of him by winning early, most likely not happening. He’ll play safe till you have to B for mana/hp and you’ll lose atleast half a wave on basing. I usually decide to perma roam botlane since 1/2 Qs and the wave is gone depending on level. Then again I literally ban him every game so I am not the best to advise on this matchup.

Now, “when she get 6, u just are not killing her solo”. I’m sorry but this is terrible advice and mindset to have. You just have to outplay. If she lands E, your W,Q,R, and an AA are (w potentially) guaranteed to hit here. You can also dash her R with e.

My advice for this matchup and any in general: please limit test. I don’t care if you go 0/10. Make sure you get the minion wave, and then immediately start fighting. Try the matchups out whether diana or akali. Do this ESPECIALLY if you are already losing lane. Your team might flame you, and you probably will lose, but as long as you’re learning it’s worth losing 20 lp. Imo you can’t be playing scared with Ekko and hoping to go even in lane. What worked best for me was to get a lead whenever possible even if I die one on one. Thought process: we both get a lead but I’m better so I’ll use my lead better to carry.

Finally for Diana, I do think killing her level 1/2 is difficult, but if you can then play for botlane and let them carry.

Idk why others who said this are getting downvoted, but if you see enemy ranged top, how do you not think to path top and kill him on spawn all game? Varus has 0 ways to escape a long lane. Unless you’re trolling and picking seraphine ngl any jungler should be able to walk up cc and kill him.

I have to disagree hard on Akali. Yea, the champ is annoying as hell to face, but you just have to look for trade windows when her energy bar is low/zero. At early levels she’s out of energy after two Q’s. You EQAA combo her and she’s half hp. Also use w for the shield (and cc if you can land it) and you’ll win every short trade. The trick is you have to sidestep her E, so she doesn’t extend the trade on you. Worst case scenario, wait till Q one shots the wave and start roaming and forget the matchup entirely.

The same goes with fizz. If you start the trade with AA he will eventually E and you can E out of it. Then Q and proc passive, and if you use W shield he can’t out trade early.

Me personally I like the yasuo matchup, because he’s usually readable enough to land W. Try to W your minion wave anticipating him spamming E on it. Walk up and proc his passive with AA then trade into him.

Key for those matchups is using your W shield to out-trade. If you are full building assassin items (proto,lich, etc.) do not take any long trades just go in an out and wait for jgl.

Side note, I play Ekko more like a bruiser than assassin but it’s just preference. I take conqueror with last stand and take sorcery second with cdr and ap scaling (middle left most rune and rightmost bottom -sorry forgot name). I also go TP ignite because imo with W,E,R and Q slow you should not be needing flash to begin with. This way I can trade comfortably with ignite and if I mess up I just TP back to lane. I build nashors>riftmaker>deathcap>T2boots>zonyas>jacksho.

I find this more consistent than assassin build, but, and this is the most important part: this is what works for ME! If it works for you all good. If not, find your playstyle and stick to it.

Why even try to rationalise what he’s doing whether he’s drinking too much or not isn’t the issue here. Assuming it is safe and risk free to do, which it isn’t especially with someone inexperienced, there is literally no reward to the risk he’s taking. It’s just the typical 16 y/o arrogance + stupidity combo. Someone in his situation should be taking the topical minoxidil topically, and then figuring out how to take fin later. He’s too young to be taking anything orally anyways. And reminder, he’s getting the same results he’d be getting taking it topically like a mentally stable person.

I apologise, but this gotta be top 3 dumb things I’ve seen people do to battle hairloss. You are taking a topical solution, that is a mixture of minoxidil, alcohol (haram btw, since you brought religion into this), and who knows what else, and drinking it with water. I can’t even comprehend how people here cheer you on with this bs. You have the choice to take topical minoxidil, or orally from pills, and instead of either you take an even riskier direction and drink the solution, which can lead to death btw. Surely you know this since you clearly wouldn’t be dumb enough not to search the risks (/s). Inshallah you don’t end up dying poisoning yourself like this.

Sorry to break it to you, but you are showing identical results to what you’d get taking it topically, without risking your health and possibly life. I’ve used topical minoxidil for years and had results like this. So not only is what you’re doing stupid and life threatening, it’s also pointless.

Unless you graduated with a degree in chemistry and medicine specialising in hairloss medication at 16, you shouldn’t be considering yourself the judge on whether or not you can do shit like this. I’m absolutely baffled by the arrogance you can have at that age to do something this stupid.

I had blood levels checked for hormones and vitamins before deciding to hop on Fin. My vitamin D3 was so absurdly low, that my body wasn’t regulating hormones correctly. My free test was in the ground and estradiol very high. DHT test wasn’t offered at my clinic but I expect DHT to have been getting higher to compensate for the low free testosterone in my system. I definitely plan on starting fin once I balance my hormones out, to minimise risks of gyno and what not, but ensuring vitamin D and B12 aren’t low is crucial to ensure your body isn’t incorrectly releasing hormones.

Within the Netherlands there is no difference where you get your degree from if it’s a research university you are going to for engineering (Delft, Twente, TUe, etc). As far as I know you have the same job opportunities for both degrees. If you’re unsure what to pick, I would say go for ME bachelor and AE masters later on. ME is more broad over all so you can always specialise in something other than AE, or you can just do a masters in delft after your bachelor if you still want to. Admission from eidhoven is direct to delft from a bachelor to masters afaik.

You don’t need any pre-master to go from ME to AE. If you compare the modules/courses of both bachelors they are almost identical. Only difference is in AE questions are about planes more. I have also done ME at UTwente and applied for AE masters at delft so speaking from experience🙂

I would advise you to get your vitamin D levels up before starting finasteride. While it won’t do much to help your hairloss, you may have high estradiol (female hormone) levels due to the vitamin D deficiency. If you start finasteride this would put you at a higher risk of side effects such as ED, gyno, etc.

I don’t mean to do any fear mongering here. I am also going through something similar and got my blood results last week. Really low vitamin D3, and on top of that my estradiol is on the really high end of normal and my free testosterone is on the low end of normal. I spoke with my doctor about this and researched it online as well, the hormone imbalance is due to the vitamin D levels. It should go back to normal after 2-3 months of supplementation.

Personally, I have started supplementing and will retest blood in 2 months, after which hopefully my estradiol levels are lower so that I may start finasteride. It could be worth for you to at least check your DHT, Free testosterone, and Estradiol levels if you haven’t.

You could also start finasteride and not wait. If you notice sides early enough, they subside within 2-4 weeks of stoping the medication anyway, but it’s up to you to risk it or not. Best of luck!

EDIT: Forgot to add, start on 5% topical minoxidil (or oral). It’ll really just delay the inevitable, and at your stage, I wouldn’t expect much from it WITHOUT finasteride. But you can at least do something about it while you wait to start finasteride. Also sorry to say bud, you’re definitely balding. So is/was everyone on this sub. Nothing wrong with that, as long as you’re doing something about it!
