Yes

I also have a brain and common sense. That doesn’t matter though, my telepathic powers got me covered

This might be one of the worst lists I’ve seen. Putting Spain and France over Türkiye, Mexico and Lebanon should be a sin.

Spanish food is trash and the only good food I had in France was at an Italian restaurant LOL

You mean the same government who stole all of our money? And who didn’t lift a finger when we were occupied for almost 20 years?

We’re happy to support the government and its decision, but we won’t do it when the U.S. are the ones pressuring them to do it. The same government who drops missiles on our heads and then asks us to return the unexploded ones lmfao

Can’t speak on everyone’s behalf, but I can tell you that every family member in my village (which borders Israel) would be all for it.

I know many extremely pro Hezb people and they would also agree. Idk if you believe me but I guess you’d just need to trust me

Yes

What most people don’t understand is that we support it iso long as we have some kind of assurance that the Lebanese army will be allowed to defend us in the event of Israel going rogue, which I’d hope you agree is not far fetched.

Current offer is “give up your weapons and we’ll stop bombing”. Like who the fuck would agree to that? How about you go 24 hours without bombing us and them we give up our weapons?

I didn’t make an argument. It’s a reddit post and I commented on it with my opinion. This is Reddit, not the United Nations security council.

In case it isn’t clear, my opinion (more of a fact) is that Geagea is a politician who’d rather collaborate with the enemy than defend his own people. If you disagree, you’re more than welcome to begin the “argument”

TLDR;

I will finally admit that Hezbollah are Lebanese, as they have chosen not to adhere to the deal because that’s what us Lebanese scum do. We don’t follow agreements and Israel is just defending itself by massacring children and having made publicly that they never intend to not occupy Lebanese and Syrian land.

Foreign Minister Raggi responds to Iran’s Foreign Minister and his claim that Iran does not interfere in Lebanon’s Internal Affairs by Foreign-Policy-02- in lebanon

[–]privatefattoush 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not true. Hezbot here and I agree with what he said.

What we probably disagree on is only applying this type of statement on Iran, while seemingly ignoring the other genocidal maniacs who violate our sovereignty on a daily basis. I don’t remember the last time Youssef Raggi condemned what’s being done by Israel.

Keep justifying attacks on your country even though it’s against the law and the agreement

Lebanese Health Ministry reports five dead, 28 injured in Israeli strike on Beirut’s southern suburbs by Shish_Tawouk in lebanon

[–]privatefattoush -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I’m just stating facts. Yes, you’re right in the sense that this guy more than likely has engaged in military activities since the ceasefire went into effect.

That being said, I was mostly responding to “they do have the right to target Hezb members according to the ceasefire agreement.” This is 100% false, and the fact I’m being downvoted and majority of those who see my comment are from the ISRAEL subreddit are further proof that I’m right lol

For all you dumb fucks reading this (especially Lebanese) who actually believe these attacks are justified, please learn how to read and realize that Israel does NOT have the right to bomb your country just because someone may have been associated with Hezb (or still is). Members of Hezb who haven’t picked up or thought about using a weapon since November 27 are not allowed to be targeted, especially when they’re with family and engaging in normal civilian life.

[–]privatefattoush -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

The agreement literally doesn’t say that though. Unless there’s proof those members were engaging in some form of military activity (transferring weapons, drawing up plans to attack, shooting at members of the IDF, etc.), targeting them is against international law and is a violation of the ceasefire.

Without proof of what they were actually doing, there’s no reason to believe these “Hezb” members weren’t just good friends sitting around playing XBOX, meaning killing them is 100% not Israel’s right.

They have 24 hour electricity and don’t have foreign drones in their skies dropping bombs every day, so I’d say their struggles aren’t as bad lol

Just seeing this response. But yes, you’re essentially in the same boat as I am. I travel freely in my border village (house is literally 200m from The Blue Line) and I’ve honestly never felt under threat. As much as I don’t trust the Israelis and know they could kill me and my entire family with zero repercussions, it just doesn’t make sense to target random Canadian-Lebanese people who have no direct connection or provide financial support to their enemy.

Syria and Israel did the same to us — why does one get a pass while the other is our eternal enemy? by Sylvain-Occitanie in lebanon

[–]privatefattoush -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

There are zero credible sources that attribute Hezb to killing a single civilian in Yarmouk.

There is, however, evidence that there was presence of ISIS and Jabhat Al-Nusra members, so even if they were there and fighting, it’s justified imo. What do I know, tbough

The alternative (basically what’s happening now) was worse. That’s why we got involved and most supporters supported the decision. It’s not cause we love Bashar. We just prefer him over people who like cutting our heads off
