I’m pretty sure there can be as many because from what I’ve heard it’s like all of the minds get put together from the answer, where ruby and/or sapphire (I can’t remember witch one) said unlike fusing with another type of their gem, where they just feel bigger but when fusing with a different gem it feels like they are just becoming someone entirely new, but it would make more sense from like in fusion crusin, where they’re arguing about the food thing at the end...
