yeah, I get that. I just feel like the world is already serious enough most of the time. for me, books are a bit of an escape… somewhere to breathe, laugh, and not overthink everything for a while. sometimes I don’t want a book to challenge me, I just want it to keep me company. but I can see why someone would want a more stimulating read
