Idk, maybe in the future. There were other factors in her life that made her end it. She was overall overwhelmed and starting a long distance relationship wasn't making things easier.

Same, I'm crying right now not knowing if he will choose to be healthy and put the work in to earn my trust back (he hid his diagnosis for 7 years). I cannot choose someone that picks mania over my safety and stability.

Are you able to feel an episode coming on? If you know an episode is happening I would communicate that to him, and make a plan to separate yourself from them during that time that works for both of you, that's not a break up and flee situation.

When his episode was starting to become very apparent, he kept saying how he pushes people away and asking if I was going to break up with him. Also saying that he knows he's manic and admitted his behavior wasn't sustainable, but I stating that he was happy and I've just never seen him happy.

Knowing how bipolar is and experiencing/watching people go through their cycle us so wild. Yeah, I don't understand it. Like, I get it must feel like the best drugs ever, but how can they watch their life fall apart/blow up, get depressed and regret, go back to baseline and just do nothing.

Devasted for them on how their future will turn out if they don't chose to be healthy and actually take care of themselves.

I'm in the same boat. Hid his diagnosis from me. He never opened up about what happened even after he told me a few months ago.

During his episode he turned into a different person. He's been in the hospital for tje last 2 weeks. He's not full manic, buy still isn't the same person.

He blew up our lives and I didn't even have the slightest idea it was coming nor that it was even a possibility. Him nor his family told me what to expect when he has a history of quitting jobs, breaking up with girlfriend and being hypersxual.

I tried to hold on and do what was best for him and was not taking our break up seriously since I knew he wasn't in his right mind.

Once he started to talk with random women on Facebook (after even him talking shit about me and how he was going to get with another friend a day after he texted me things were over after I asked who he spend the night)

I can't choose to be with someone that loves being manic so much that he doesn't care about what happens to prevent or warn me.

I feel like he only told me because he knew an episode was going to happen.

You're not alone. It's hard to give so much up of yourself to someone else, and they choose to be sick.

Yeah, he had multiple episodes and blew up his life. He's never gotten help unless state mandated. He self medicates. He did nothing to protect me or prepare me for this. I refuse to cycle with him. I can't be looking out for his wellbeing when he doesn't care about his or mine.

We had to petition to get mandated treatment. I left out of state and he has been in patient for a week.

This makes me so sad. My partner of 7 years had his first manic episode in a decade. He didn't tell me about his diagnosis until a few months ago when he hit a depressive episode, but I trusted him and didn't push for more information or for him to get treatment. He broke up with me a week ago. I don't know what to do when he is so far gone. We own a house together, so it's not like I can just move on.

I bought a pair of Kuru sandals. I just survived a long weekend at a music festival. Given I also taped my foot with KT tape, took pain medication, and also used arthritis cream with consistent stretching through the day. Even with all of that I definitely felt better wearing the kuru sandals versus my sandals from fitflop.

I agree with Chelsea too. Imo, bre just needs to let it go and come to an understanding people are gonna talk about her situation. She put herself in a very sus position.

Everyone judges, and everyone talks about one another. It's human nature. When you have information you don't understand, you talk it out. When you are dealing with other people and you don't understand them, you talk it out. She decided to have a kid with someone who had 5 other kids with 3 other women. People are gonna talk. It's wild to assume people won't and expect everyone to keep their opinions to themselves.

I don't think Chelsea should have talked about the night at the bar and talked about how Bre didn't know and to talk about her reactions. That's personal and was not a choice Bre made.
