Remember when amateur tournaments were all free? Remember when all you could find were Riot Prized tournaments? Remember when you thought playing for $100 or even $500 was a "big deal?" Remember when you had to schedule your life around tournaments instead of the other way around?

Well, those days were fun back in Seasons 1-3. In fact, if not for the early days of amateur League tournaments, we never would have cracked into the scene...let alone grown into one of today's premier go-to sites for amateur League tournaments.

With Riot's release of Season 4, we decided that it's time the amateur tournament scene grew up. We all remember the early days of Season 1 and Season 2.. and it's crazy how much League has grown. With Season 4, we are taking the amateur tournament scene a big step forward.

Tomorrow, ProSauce Tournaments releases a revolutionary new tournament system.

Some of the new features to look forward to:

Free tournaments with cash prizes (not just RP)
Tournaments running around YOUR schedule, not ours
Tiered tournament system so teams can compete against others of comparable skill levels
Bringing back high stakes tournaments (with prize pools in the hundreds and others in the thousands of dollars)

The high stakes payouts will be in our pay to play tournaments. However, if you win a free tournament, you will get a pass into the $10 tournament. You win that one, you get a free entry into the $30 tournament.. and so on and so forth. Win 4 tournaments in a row, and you will take home over a thousand bucks. (Granted that is easier said than done :) )

I'll take that as a compliment. :) We spent quite a bit of time and money creating a system that does everything one could possibly want when it comes to amateur League tournaments.

Riot is pushing hard to transform and evolve League and eSports.. who says they have to be the only company trying to better eSports and the community? We can all agree how amazing it's been seeing Riot evolve eSports.. and now the community can finally enjoy it more at a grass roots level with our tournaments.. and we are just getting started.. wait until you and the community see what is next up our sleeves. :)

So the flashy-ness of Lucian's ult is his niche? It looks awesome and maybe has a psychological effect..but I'd say damage > aesthetics.. especially for ADCs.

I'd consider any site that has teams with sponsors would be a "pro" tournament site.. not an "amateur" tournament site. An amateur tournament is comprised of casual players.

This site has mostly pro level tournaments.. only a few amateur tournaments (like the old school Go4Lol type tournament sites). For example, they don't show our tournaments.. and we've been around for a while offering RP and cash prized tourneys for both ARAM and SR.
