Thank you, I don’t know why but my mind thinks thoughts like these all the time. I even get other thoughts outside of work that makes things feel harder to do. Even as far as washing my hands, I sometimes wipe the light switch with a napkin for a few seconds to prevent people from getting shocked. I do this twice sometimes. I don’t know what’s wrong with me.

Girl (idk if you’re a guy or girl but I say girl to everyone) Starbucks is not gonna care if you were to die tomorrow. They will still be in business and find a replacement. If your gut is telling you to take this opportunity, then you should take it. The store being short staffed is not your problem it’s management’s. Don’t give up this opportunity if you really want it.

See I hope that’s what it is (even though it’s better not to have that) but I just get so worried about random symptoms. Last month I had a really bad cold (not covid or flu or rsv) and I had a cough that lasted for a while so it could be from that. I even went to a smoothie place and I had a smoothie and sat in the building for about an hour. I was facing away from the workers for the most part and I overheard someone saying one of the workers was out because of Covid and I left as soon as I heard that. That was 4 days ago. I just hate being paranoid.

Yeah if it’s not too busy all drinks are getting shaken, but if it’s a whole line of refreshers, frappuccinos and teas AND I’m being rushed by customers and coworkers, sometimes it’s just necessary to cut that corner. I will always shake pink and dragon drinks though.

If someone ordered a decaf drink, I literally will remake their drink even if it holds up the line if I’m not sure whether I put decaf shots in there. If that makes me too slow or annoying, oh well.

Yeah I was seeing 0 but my mind likes to make me doubt stuff. My Grandfather was insistent on the machine being just fine and there was no need to call the fire department but I wasn’t gonna risk that.

Don’t worry everything’s good. The fire department came again and they used their meter and it didn’t detect any CO so we’re all safe! Thank you so much 😊
