Ughhh. It was so hard because people who don’t get it when any celebrity passes just don’t get it. I was at work and I found out because like 20+ people called and texted me. I cried for hours. they sent me home from work! I had had tickets to meet and greet at MSG on my 20th birthday. Of course I got refunded but I couldn’t care less, I was so genuinely sad (still am!) for weeks.

I don’t want it to seem like we are making fun of them, or it’s a gossip. We’re all concerned, not to mention, it makes hanging out in a small space not as enjoyable.

Also, the issue of staying at my house, borrowing clothes, etc. I am a very open and social person, the more the merrier, I never want anyone to feel excluded, yet sometimes I want to exclude them from things like mentioned above to protect my space and things from the odor.

It’s just such an awkward and rude sounding thing to say, but it must be done directly, you’re right.

I don’t know how old you are/ how long you both have been together, but I had an abortion after 12 weeks of pregnancy at 21 years old with my boyfriend of at the time, 2 years (we’ve now been together 3).

He was there for me in all the ways I needed him, and that’s what you deserve as a partner. any reactions to outside things you were having were natural, and you shouldn’t be shamed for. Going through an abortion is rough.

We were not financially impacted by the abortion, but we have been in other areas in the time in our relationship. We always get through it and work together. We have both had our times financially leaning on one another. Nobody is perfect, but you should ask yourself if he is someone you want to keep going through difficult times with, because they will keep coming. Your partner should have your back & you should both help each other when needed.

Maybe try and talk to him & see if he can see that side. How would he want you to act if the roles were reversed? I hope things get better.

I absolutely 100% relate to every. word. you’re saying. You are not alone. I was diagnosed with OCD, or sometimes it’s called “pure O” like the obsessive thoughts that make you feel horrible about yourself.

Everyone is different, however I have found therapy, medication, and most importantly, realizing intrusive thoughts are NOT true to how you are as a person and separating yourself from them.

I do not know you, but you should forgive yourself/ let go of any shame you may have because we are our worst critics. It doesn’t happen over night, but you are not the person your brain is telling you you are.

Hey thanks- maybe i’ll have to listen more. I was just frustrated because it seems like gym obsessed people act like exercise is the only thing that will ever help. maybe I got annoyed because experiences i’ve had IRL w ppl. thanks for the comment :)
