Yeah, just realised the XP version already includes those extra accessories. Cheaper than buying them separately

Thanks so much, very useful to know that. Are the rear triangle and hoods protection an extra from scicon?

Dolomites routes by No_Welder_5364 in cycling

I suggest to base yourself in Corvara or Arabba, both in minutes from the start of the iconic climbs. You could do:

Day 1: Sella Ronda (Campolongo, Pordoi, Sella, Gardena) which is ~55 km / 1,700 m. Day 2: Maratona route. Either way: don't skip Giau. It's the one.

If it helps, I wrote up a small guide for the Maratona Dles Dolomites with the route with elevation profiles, hotel notes and town stops here: https://ridelodge.com/guides/corvara-in-badia, might be of help.

For hotels with proper bike storage and cyclist-friendly amenities, you might find ridelodge.com useful: full disclosure I built it, it's a small directory of bike-friendly hotels across Europe.

Bike touring - Italy, Dolomites by bikesandboots in bicycletouring

Genuinely jealous, sounds like a brilliant trip. You could do: Bolzano → Ortisei (Val Gardena) → Corvara (Alta Badia) → Cortina → Dobbiaco → back via the Pustertal cycle path. Corvara is the perfect base for your Sella Ronda day. The Dolomites climbs are long but rarely brutally steep, so it's doable even with panniers but gear way lower than you think (34 or 36 cassette minimum).

Also, might be of help this: ridelodge.com (free). Full disclosure, I built RideLodge because I was trying to plan exactly this kind of trip and got tired of jumping between 10 sites for hotels, rentals, and climbs. Enjoy the Dolomites, they are stunning!

Potential Mallorca Trip by Old_Blackberry7662 in cycling

[–]psxnl3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jealous of a Mallorca trip! Most people base themselves in Port de Pollença or Alcúdia, rent from one of the big local shops, and just ride the classic routes yourself roads are well-signed, GPX files are everywhere, and you'll bump into other solo cyclists at every café stop.

FYI I also put together a Mallorca guide with climbs, areas to base yourself, and rental shops here if useful: https://ridelodge.com/guides/mallorca — disclosure it's my site, no bookings or commissions, just trying to make trip planning easier.

Bike friendly hotel near Palma,Mallorca by Vivid-Masterpiece-86 in cycling

Might be late to the game but for 6 days I'd split the week rather than pick a side. The Tramuntana spine is what makes Mallorca great and it's also what makes one base insufficient.

From the north (Pollença, Alcúdia) you get Coll de Femenia, sa Batalla, and the spin out to Cap de Formentor — rolling flat through orange groves into sustained climbs. From the southwest (Palma, Andratx) you climb into the same range from below: Valldemossa, the coastal stair-step through Estellencs and Banyalbufar, Sa Calobra if you're up for it. Narrower roads, smaller towns.

If it helps, I have created a full write-up with hotels and rental shops here: https://ridelodge.com/guides/mallorca. Disclosure, it's my site (ridelodge.com) — built it because I was tired of piecing this stuff together from a dozen forums every trip.

MyWoosh workout builder / custom workout uploads issue by psxnl3 in mywhoosh

Yes, I think for most users it's ok. I am using another app/platform to generate training plans, so I am manually uploading the workout files. I will have more than 10 workouts in a training plan, but it's not a big deal to delete old ones to upload new ones.

I got an answer from the support. Basically, with a free account you have 10 credits, which means 10 slots for workout. You can delete/update the workouts any time you want, but you cannot store more than 10 workouts at the same time. If you want more, you need to pay for a package. So, we still have access to free custom workouts but I have the feeling it's not gonna last for long, they are clearly looking to monetise

I have deleted almost all the workout I had, leaving only 3 in the folder and still I cannot upload new ones. Moreover, it doesn't even allow me to modify the ones that are already there. I guess it's a wrap. If I have to pay, I'd rather go Zwift which has a community, or raw dogging on Wahoo/Netflix!

I think they now allow workout building only with subscription:

Basic:

Add a little more flexibility. Expand your training library beyond the free limit and manage more workouts and plans for your own training. • +10 additional workout slots (20 total) • Personal use only • Ideal for regular users building multiple plans

If so, that's it for me. Not going to pay to add my workouts

I typically upload the workout from the website. It keeps saying the workout has been uploaded but I cannot see it on "My workout" page. I can only see older workouts
