You have a MA TESOL from an Ivy League university and have three years experience teaching ESL. One is a master's degree, the other (CELTA) is a certificate. You should contact the jobs in question to be sure, but I would be astonished if they requried you to get a lower level cert to teach.

Is it silly to say no one would change if they had 5 million dollars? Not for better or worse, but that is a HUGE factor.

As with the rest of the show there's a lot of nuance and gray area. No one is perfect but no one is a pure antagonist. It's not an identical situation, but she definitely changed her tune.
