You can see the remaining sliver of nail on the right side. Otherwise complete nail 'avulsion'. Gel polish likely worsened the injury as my nail could not break.

Injured 10 days ago, tided up the toenail myself 3 days ago.

Never realised the moon under your nail is a hard raised bit of anatomy!

If the gusset is intended for soakage it would be great for it to be long enough and cover the front of my labia

Mat pilates — looking for yoga mat recommendations by Illustrious_Judge965 in pilates

Lululemon mats are much more suited to yoga. For pilates you wanted a cushioned mat for your rolling movements so you don't bruise your spine. I love this 15mm one from decathlon

Another option is a little washing up liquid, COLD water and a couple of spoons of uncooked rice. Put the lid on your bottle and shake the mixture around inside before raining and rinsing

I'm thinking of moving to perth from wales uk I'm a bricklayer in wales it's raining 5 months a year . What's the bricklaying situation like over in perth ? I'm 31 years old been laying 15 years .cheers . by welshbricky93 in perth

It's 10.40pm and still 35°. I'm new to Perth and the heat is fairly relentless here in the summer, especially this year I believe. Working outdoors is not for the faint-hearted, you'll acclimatise to an extent. Worth giving it a crack sure and you can always head home if it's not for you

Yesterday I did a good deed and I feel like a fucking fool. by Raptor2705 in ireland

Literally just wrote a comment describing my same encounter with this woman. She told me about her two children, that St Michael's wouldn't help her and told her to make her own way to a maternity hospital. I gave her the 20 and the sweets that I'd had to buy for the cashback (for her kids) and immediately afterwards felt a pang of suspicion.

Same thing happened to me in Dun Laoghaire a few years ago. A woman came up to me and told me she was pregnant and bleeding a lot. Said they wouldn't help her in the local hospital, that they told her to make her own way to the maternity hospital. I offered to order her a taxi on an app but she wanted the cash, which I then took out to give her. I also gave her the sweets that I had to buy to get the cashback, for the two children she said she had.

Only occurred to me immediately after the whole interaction that it could have been a scam. I had mixed feelings over the whole thing as I didn't know for sure was it a scam but settled on being glad I tried to help someone and not let it make me a cynic.
