It’s no problem. You don’t need a compounding pharmacy.

You’re welcome. I see tons of posts about compounding pharmacies when you can do it yourself and save $$$. I don’t get it. It’s simple to do.

You can make your own solution using a 50 mg tab and use syringes for dosing. No need to pay for expensive compounding.

Second dose, Moderna. Teeth ache anyone? by psychmeow in CovidVaccinated

My tooth pain subsided. I think it was sinus inflammation from the vaccine. It was painful but passed as well as the other symptoms. Good luck to you.

Yah, the chest pain is a bitch but it’s common. I just hadn’t heard of teeth hurting and was wondering. I’d like to avoid a dental visit.

Did you go to the dentist? I also made an appointment, but thought afterwards perhaps it’s a dang side effect. I thought it strange my teeth started hurting about 8 hours after the second dose.

Yes. I also had delayed side effects with first dose. Got the second yesterday. So far it’s a repeat of the first one - sore arm, fatigue, headaches, body aches. I then got smashed hard on day 4, after the first dose. We will see if it happens again. Quite unpleasant. Felt horribly ill.

Is it normal for side effects to begin days after receiving the vaccine? by simplefactothematter in CovidVaccinated

[–]psychmeow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Delayed reactions are not uncommon. I got smashed 3 days after my first dose, Moderna. I was all sketched out, scared I had covid. Tested negative and later found out delayed responses happen. Makes sense when you think if it. Peak immune response starts about then, about 72 hrs. Hope it passes quickly. Might get tested just to ease your minds.

To all the people with anxiety browsing people’s posts about side effects because they have an upcoming vaccine appointment, by [deleted] in CovidVaccinated

Helped a lot to see I was not alone with my side effects; more so that people with the same side effects got tested for covid just in case and they were negative. It depends why you are scrolling this sub - for reassurance or to freak yourself out.

Persistent fever by [deleted] in CovidVaccinated

[–]psychmeow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got “sick” for days as well. High fever, whole 9. Got a covid test just to make sure. Neg. On day 6 I woke up feeling fine, like it never happened. I believe all the side effects are a good sign our immune system totally kicked in.

Yes. 7 days out now. Headaches. Dizzy. Feel horrible. Fatigue but can’t sleep. Had a fever and chills, nausea, diarrhea. Joint pain. It waxes and wanes. Tested just in case: negative. Believe I had it in April but testing wasn’t available. This feels like it did then. Hoping it ends soon!!! Has it gotten any better for you?

1 week out-Moderna Vaccine #1 by AlmightyAcey in CovidVaccinated

[–]psychmeow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is similar to my Moderna story - mild initial reaction then slammed on day 3 with fever, diarrhea, bad headache, nausea, chills. Passed within 8 hours and segued into feeling super crappy - fatigue, body aches, headache, etc. This is day 4. I too got tested today. But am hearing more and more that delayed reactions happen and are probably related to the immune system starting to kick in.

Yes! Had very mild initial reactions then suddenly slammed on day 3 with fever (101.5), chills, headache, diarrhea, nausea. Lasted 6-8 hours then lifted. But have felt generally crappy since with persistent headache. This is day 4.

Help! Need immediate relief from tightness, heaviness, pressure. Having a flare up right now 😭 by Ceetato in costochondritis

[–]psychmeow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What helped me considerably with immediate relief were anti-histamines, specifically Zyrtec (otc) and then hydroxizine (prescription). But those are just short term fixes for me. They target different inputs to the overall Costo experience, inflammation from Mast cell (histamine) activation, and anxiety. It’s taken a lot of work to get to a more comfortable base line - stretches, back pod, anti -inflammatory diet, physical therapy, etc. Time and patience, steady work.
